How to tell if a multi server is hacked?
Any of these things may indicate a hacked server:
-player with level higher than 60
-animals scoring unusually high or low for their weight
-max score but not max weight animals (within 1-2kg of max is usually fine. Any lower, and Iād suspect hax)
-nothing but max weight animals
-rare fur types appearing much more commonly than usual, especially multiple in one herd
-all animals in the entire server are frozen
-player speeding around the map like sonic the hedgehog without an ATV

Oddly enough, the score in classic for weight-based small game is measured in grams - so say, a 0.48kg harlequin would be scored as 480, not 4.8

Learn where to aim, learn the strong and weak points of different weapons, remember to use cover, look where the wind is blowing, make use of your skills/perks etc.

ā¢ Drink zones are your friends. Get an animalās drink time and go to areas of water during that time and youāll find what you are looking for.
ā¢ Make sure to hit all check marks when killing animals and learn where their vitals are. Lungs are the easiest to aim for, heart is the best but harder to manage
ā¢ If you have a zone that you like, be careful about hunting pressure. Too much hunting pressure will delete any zones in that area. They will come back, just not in that exact spot
ā¢ Level your character and use those skill/perk points as they come in handy.
ā¢ Learn your weapons and bullet types. Some weapons are more efficient against some animals while others are not

The weapon's ammo will show you what classes it can shoot, and each animal has a class (1,4,7,9, etc.)
For example, the 7mm covers classes 4-9, while the .22LR only covers class 1
The King 470 DB covers only class 9
You'll have to look at the ammo types, and when you scout animals it'll show you their class
For example, whitetail deer, wild boar, and fallow deer are class 4, cape buffalo and water buffalo are class 9, etc.

Im stuck on the mission Bait & Switch where i have to kill and harvest the white wolf, i tracked it shot it hit a non vital with the M1, he killed me because i was already low health and i forget medkits to heal, i respawn about 600m away, and i grab an atv and head back to where i died about 10 seconds after respawning map has the purple hunter pressure circle where i died, i make back and i start tracking his blood trail, and the tracks and all just stop about 100m from where i shot him at, the last track that i found was 50-75 health on a blood trail and ive not found any more tracks, what should i do

when you do get around into looking at DLC's, I recommend:
Weapon Pack 1 for the .22 rifle (only rifle that can be used on Class 1 animals, extremely useful on ducks)
Yukon map for the .300 rifle (THE weapon for anything classed 7-9)
and I forget which pack has the drilling rifle but that weapon can do almost every single class of animal depending on which ammo you're using iirc

What has happened to me a couple of times is that I dodge the wildebeest in the stampede, they then circle around to try again before running off. If the framerate wouldn't die on my Xbox it would be more fun that it already is but at least it's exciting

Basically if u find an animal it will always be there until you eliminate it.
When u kill it it will respawn as a diffrent animal.
Take this with a grain of salt its been awile since i've played and im unsure if this is valid but im pretty sure thats how it works
so if u find a heard at a drinking zone it will be there the next day at the same time

Animals that exist in the world are bound to their zone; that's where they spawned, and that's where they will stay, FOREVER
They also hit other zones, of course.

Each herd has 3 zones tied to them.
If you smoke the herd, it will delete their zones, which means a smaller pop for that species on your map until they come back magically.
If you apply 4 hunting pressure to a zone, you will delete any need zones in the area, but NOT the herd.
