not the only places to find them, but good places to start looking for elk during feed/rest times. The gigantic meadow with the star in it is probably your best bet. I call it the fairway. Pay extra attention to the tree line around it. You'll find alot of feed/rest zones either in little side meadows or just inside the trees off the main meadow

Fantasma is about halfway through the story missions, Ogro is in the penultimate story mission, Sombra is at the end of Baden's side mission chain.

It would have to be 4x the amount of animals, cuz hunting structures reduce generated pressure by 75%

havent tested it out, but I am pretty sure that any kind of kill would count quick or not. Tho I would recommend still trying to get that insta-drop. I think i did one of these on yukon with the new system and it still counted.

It's not a necessary anymore but it still exists it's not the funnest trying to get either sometimes with bigger animals

I really like what they did with the quick kill and classes though. It makes it a lot better than finding a diamond and messing up its score due to some other animal unrelated to it that you failed to find.

But I do wish that lower caliber guns could still keep integrity if a vital was hit and the quick kill didn't reach 0 percent. It'd add a bit of a risk for using smaller calibers but still discourage blasting everything with a .300

I'm very excited for the new map, but I do have to say I am disappointed with the amount of big game species. First off, I'm not a huge fan of adding bighorn when we could have desert sheep instead. Second of all, I'm very, very upset that there are only 3 big game species are they are all reused! When I heard the map was going to be Mexico I was excited to hopefully see desert bighorn, possibly elk, but I really wanted barbary sheep (aoudad). I really thought we were going to get barbary sheep and I feel really let down that we didn't. If by any chance, you could add barbary sheep for me and the other's requesting it, I think our community would really appreciate it. With that said, I am very excited for the new map and being able to hunt whitetail, pheasant, and bobcat! Keep up the good work! Love the game.

It's ok if it reaches zero now if you do not care about session score just try to kill Buffalo with a 7 mm they run for a distance with a long shot I can't wait for the render glitch to get fixed so I can start shooting stuff for the 7mm again at for distance

Also recommendation if you're shooting at long distance and you're trying to know what yardage it is spot the animal so it pops up on your map and then move the map cursor over to it so you can figure out roughly how far it is away I used that a lot until I finally got the rangefinder binoculars

I haven't gotten a great one, but i have been able to down 1,000 bucks in a couple weeks time. i have more like 500k sunk into tents and tripods. You do make alot of credits quickly once you get rolling, but it's kind of easy come easy go until you get all your equipment bought up

well in the end its completely dependant on your skill.
For good bow hunters basically anything that is within 60 or so meters is a good shot to take, but for beginners its under 25 meters. If you have the the High-Tech hunting pack then 150 meters is also good, but mostly it stays the same for most maps.
Stay in bushes and forests where the range between each tree is close, fields arent too bad, but you would need to find a bush next to the field for it to work.
As for S Ridge, stay within the taiga forests like something north-west.
I know this is a long one but it might help

just incase anyone gets stuck on the user agreement screen I figured out a workaround.

-load the game and don't touch the mouse at all (if you move the mouse you get locked out)

-use the keyboard arrows to slowly scroll through the user agreement text (if you go too fast the game crashes so this part will take a few minutes)

-once you get to the bottom you can use your mouse to click on agree and you get into the game!

Hello. I'm having trouble figuring the brighsight bow sight out. I've watched some videos where the guy just "zeroes" the sight and goes for the green dot. I've been trying this on both shooting stands and it doesn't seem to work properly, my shots always come short. I've tried using different "zeroings" (perk one) and using the sight feature but after 50m I can never hit the target. Yes I am considering wind. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you!

That is strange. You use the red dot to zero and then aim with the green dot once you've used the red but it looks like you're doing that correctly.

yes. pronghorns are class 4. you need a weapon + ammo that is rated for class 4 (all but four rifles can take class 4 animals, so you should be completely fine)
