Search the areas you haven’t checked in a while or at all. There may be cool grizzlies hiding in some random corner of the map that you haven’t been to.
Another explanation: you just don’t have a diamond on your world. In that case, kill more male grizzlies so there’s more chances for one to respawn as a diamond

Layton mission - Vualez: Late night with the dogs
So I got lucky my first two playthroughs with this mission. I was easily able to call in yotes from the observation tower near the lake both times. Looks like my luck ran dry this time. No yotes drinking at the lake or using the area at night. Any tips on checking this one off with no yotes using the lake?

i have found in my own experience with the mission i had a small pack that seemed to just spawn in from nowhere on the southwest side of the lake just up from the shore behind the trees
the tracks would always be there just appearing from nowhere each time i went back
i called one from the other side of the lake but after that they wouldnt come so i just kept following the tracks until i saw them and made sure they were still in the required area and took pot shots lol
i had to go back a few times
i think they must spawn in specfically for the mission, i dont have any normal need zones there, and these yotes dont act normally they just move off, run if you get to close etc, they never drink or rest etc

They drink just like everything else, so lakes during drink times. Pretty much all the lakes have at least some turkeys on them. I find alot of them walking through open meadows also during feeding times.

The default binoculars do not have a built-in rangefinder. There is a dedicated rangefinder with lower zoom that you unlock at level 12, as well as a pair of binos with a built-in rangefinder at level 27. The NV binos from the high-tech pack also have a rangefinder built in

turkey decoys don't do much in my experience with them. they used to occasionally work before the dog hotfix, but really don't seem to anymore. the crow caller is really all you need though

Ive had terrible luck in that canyon with red deer and boar. It took me like 2 weeks straight just to complete that one boar challenge that's there. Had to catch them traveling between zones. I've never found the red deer drinking in that canyon lake, onle roe deer lol.
There's a fox and roe deer that rest side by side near there and im always afraid ill accidentally shoot one of them. So that whole areas off limits for fox and roe deer for me xD.

Mosin is broken atm, game says deadly penetration yet yeah I was having issues beyond effective range. I wouldnt say it couldnt break skin, but you needed broadside to reach anything. The air rifle is really fun, does anyone know if its sound spook range is 200 meters or 150 meters?

Mtn lions are class 5, so all of the class 4-8 and 4-9 rifles will work well on them

Hey guys, today my game suddenly started freezing and I can't seem to figure out why it's happening. I've tried updating my nvidia drivers, reinstalling the game, verifying the game files and resetting the game's settings & save files.
Interestingly enough the game always freezes at the exact same moment during the first loading screen of the game

animal awareness states are basically:
Calm - self-explanatory
Nervous - calls may or may not work. Animal will react faster to things. They'll be in this state for a while after being spooked, or if they smell you but not enough to spook.
Attentive - might actually be a bit more responsive to calls, but they're starting to figure out something's up.
Alert - they def know something is up. Either stop moving for a while if you're stalking them, or aim fast if the wind turned against you.
Alarmed - animal is about to flee.
Fleeing - self-explanatory.
Aggressive - you'd better hope it drops fast if you shot it, or get up the nearest hunting stand/treestand/tripod, because whatever it is is on their way to either bulldoze you or take a bite out of you.
Defensive - no idea what this one means, but it equates to "fleeing" in birds

By some miracle I managed to fix the issue I just asked about by disabling the Te Awaroa dlc. Apparently leaving the game with that reserve opened caused a crash when loading the main menu.
This seems like a pretty serious issue if more people are experiencing it. There's really no way to know the cause of this without debugging trial and error.
Should this be forwarded to the dev team in some way?

So I checked the bullet drop on the .44 Panther using the 75m zero. Here's what I came up with
50m - flat
100m - 6"
150m - 6"
200m - approx 30-36"
I think the shooting range might have glitched out. If someone gets a chance to check it would be nice to compare notes
