There's this occasional problem where if you shoot them right as they land, they glitch into the ground.

i personally found out i prefer shooting right before they land, because shooting after they land can cause a glitch as lyra said and also it's hard to see the ones flying away

It gives you permission to use the stuff

That's why you can play on any map that you don't own and you have 15 minutes until it kicks you off the game on multiplayer

bright pink is bad. most of the time need zones won't delete until you've shot 4 animals in the area. if you're using a bow or shooting from a hunting structure, the pressure gets reduced by half.

if you check your backpack/storage and it will what the range for the call is. it will also tell attraction strength and how long the call lasts

i've done a lot of bow hunting and i haven't really experienced anything like that

It seems like there is a little for me because when I was practicing at the bow range it was shooting to the right and good bit after a little range 40+yds and the wind was blowing in that direction I just went through the rifle range and with the wind blowing to my face I was able to hit the 110yds targets with pretty much just Arrow drop it wasn't going to the side like it was so I guess wind does have an effect at least for me

It's actually just two coyotes that need to be harvested in different regions, but...yeah. There's a mission in Hirsch where you have to get a fox with the 270 too, with the same issue of wrong caliber.

Okay so that open field at Mount Leviathen with the hunting stand. I've found blacktail tracks and I nabbed two whitetail that were passing through, but do coyotes go through there?

@pine spruce the dog will start to whine when you're close to an animal. The growling is when you are close to predators. Dog will whine and his icon will show him upside down and say " critical position " when you're near animals. Mostly the whining is your clue

not how respawns work. if you host a multiplayer map, essentially what you are doing is opening your map for other people to kill and harvest animals on. if someone kills a diamond, the animal will respawn, but probably not as another diamond

however, if you leave or otherwise disconnect from the server, the population and need zones stop transferring over to your singleplayer map, even if you enter back into the session (host migration has already taken place by then), so if someone kills a diamond after you exit the server, there's a pretty good chance that the same animal will also be on your singleplayer world

I see a player harvest a diamond on my mp, and then back on sp I find a diamond of the same animal. Not in the same location, but it is showing up on sp, were I didn't have before mp. If it just happened once. I would say just luck, but it has happened a lot.

I got some experience from the elk one

He spawns when you get to the second to last flight of stairs of the lookout tower you're supposed to climb to see him

He spooks very easily if you stand up on the railing, so I'd suggest crouching as soon as he spawns then spotting him and going back down the stairs

Then proceed to stalk as best you can until you get a good shot at him

He will stay on his spawn until he goes alert or you use a caller close enough to him

@fresh agate That out of render glitch totes sux. I'm afraid to shoot anything farther than 250 meters now. I started to take a shot, then immediately run towards the animal to stay within 415 meters as it runs and loses health (if it was a bad shot) and finally drops. No more taking out 15 water buffalo in one spot. It's one animal at a time. Waiting for that next update to hit.

So far I've completed 73 missions. And so far is showing 6 more missions to go. Minus the last 2 missions, the diamond boar mission, and the diamon potential boar mission. If no more missions pop up besides the 2 boar ones. I'll be doing 81+ missions. I have counted the completed missions + leftover story and side missions several times. And right now I've completed 73 missions. With 6 uncompleted missions. And hoping those ladt 2 boar ones will also show up. This is why I set out to complete all of them. Those damn boars. So my count will be 81 missions. Did they add hirschfelden missions when they added the layton zombie animals/Halloween ones? Cause im at 79 missions showing up now. And 2 more IF the diamond boars ones will still show up.

Hi all ive recently come into the issue of my game crashing in the loading screen... i was playing with a couple of buddys for a wile for 2 days and the game was fine no issues loading then all of a sudden yesterday it just crashed in the loading screen at this point in screnshot everytime. ive tried checking the files and ive even re installed the game and the same thing happens. any help would help i want to get back hunting! 😩

Everyone has their own playstyle, but I'd reccommend starting on Hirsch first

no aggro animals in the starting region and geese are great for making cash, though geese are also a big patience game

The drilling rifle is nice on silver ridge peaks you can use slugs for sheep and pronghorn. Rifle for mule deer, elk and bison. Birdshot for turkeys that jump out. It does everything you need on that map for sure

A little heavier and slower aiming for a rifle but quite handy once you get used to it

Walking around bodies of water when it's time for the animal you're wanting to hunt goes to drink so say like moose drink from 9 to 12 I thank on LL so you go about bodies of water looking for animals and or tracks and the regions where moose are most common.
You remove hunting pressure by causing more can you kill an animal go somewheres else and kill a different one in a different one and then a different one and your original hunting pressure will start going away that is how hunting Pressure Works

If you're using the default sight it can be hard to judge but if the fox was 10m away even at 20m zero you're gonna have to aim low

With the 5-pin sight and 420gr at 20m zero, you're aiming at the pin above center for 10m

Most rifles as long as you can hit them will kill animals in their class all the way out 450 yards-425 m pretty much you could say they lose about one class worth of energy maybe 2 depending on the animal so at least with rifles render is mostly your. your limit on pistols I'm not as good with knowing but if I had to get probably around 200 300 yards if you can hit them also avoid shots over 300yrs/m unless you know you're going to drop it quickly because of the render glitch
