Your best options are to just keep looking around for a place to setup where they dont spook. You’ll have to try a ton of spots
Also

• use an ATV to spook nearby crocs off, then try hunting magpie
• you might try killing the crocs within 200yds, leaving them lay before going after geese

Literally any of em. Pick one ya like and check it out. Each fresh, undiscovered map will have a few trophies already sitting on it waiting for you. Including diamonds. There’s always gonna be populations with a mix of small/med/large lvl animals though. Ya might have more luck on a map with a wider collection of species

The goal is to at least try to get a diamond tiger. The feeders didn’t work so I’m doing it the old-fashioned way.

Once I get diamonds of everything then I’ll go back and start looking for things like super rares and great ones.

The bulk of the diamonds I have remaining are class one and class two, but I take periodic breaks from those so I don’t get stuck in a rut.

In the beginning of my grind, my map was mainly lvl 2-3 females, and my lowest male was a 6. Had plenty of 7s. Two 8s. I just popped them all and spawned a few 9s that way. You’ll have better luck just taking out the top scoring ones.

Off the top of my head, I think all of my female tigers are level one which is great. And I think there are at least two or three males that are level seven not including one that I had to take out because it wouldn’t stop chasing me and I couldn’t get it to run away.

I’d love to get a grizzly and finish off Class 8 for now.

2. Should you shoot bad deer in main zones to try to clear them out for better respawns; and if so, should you prioritize killing bronze-silver deer in main zones over gold potentials?
3. I’m confused on how tents work in relation to zones— does the mere presence of a tent make deer invisible? Or is it only when you fast travel to the tent. (Asking so I can eventually put down pickup tents, but didn’t know if they still worked because of a previous experience with tents and zones)

I just started the game. What and when can I get ammo with more punch or better weapons ate all

You can get the .270 pretty early on, it’s pretty cheap and iirc it shouldn’t take much rifle skill to grind for. The .270 is basically your first big gun— albeit it’s rlly not that good. It can take classes 4-8 (so everything whitetail or bigger on Layton)

You just need to be rlly precise with it to kill moose and black bear. The better version of this that you’ll want to grind for ASAP is the 7mm. It hits a lot harder, but it costs somewhere around 32-36k and it needs a higher rifle score.

I don’t think it’s possible to turn off the map, but you can hide poi Icons, animal zone icons, etc to make it more realistic.

i have a question. I am currently trying to grind a G1 white tail on layton lakes. I have 66 white tail drink zones found however, i am finding that sometimes my bucks aren't respawning at their zones. Ie; i had a zone with 5 deer and 2 bucks in total and now that zone only has 3 females. I am only shooting 1 buck per run on smaller zones and am using a tripod. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how i can fix this?

Salzweisen and Revontuli both have lots of birds to hunt, theres also a dlc with ground blinds for waterfowl

That’s kind of a hard question to answer because it depends on your taste. If you’re just looking to roleplay hunting I don’t think you can go wrong with anything.

From what I understand, Revontuli Coast is the best map for Duck Hunting plus there are two DLC packs for bird shot and decoys.

I’m pretty new to the game too but I’m sure it is because it’s a device for any species which means it makes duck calls.

Salzwiesen Park is also good for ducks and geese. It’s a small game map.

I think that’s a preference. Pairing a tree stand with an ambush device might work.
