Run your whole map and check to see if you have an extra male in any herds you aren't usually rotating. You might also not have enough fallow to shoot and they aren't coming back. Shoot 10+ herds with 3 or 4 females in them to get the most consistent respawns. Fallow are kinda cooked rn also.

Cacciatore can shoot 12 bullets. Also iirc you can’t put a scope on the caversham? Or that may be one of the others. You can put a scope on the cacciatore, though. Lol it’s widely considered the best shotgun in the game by most of the community.

essentially you just kill your foxes on the left big island and then once you have only a few pairs left afk for like 10 minutes to let the respawns go off, then go to the other land, shoot 3 or 4 males ONLY MALES without picking them up and leave the game, when you reload ur island will be repopulated

the numbered areas are their “spawn traps” area 1 is the area you want to hunt until low, and kill those males without collecting from area 2-3-4 when u have no more in 1

and then you repeat till G1

best way to hunt island is put tent at top but not against the coast, then walk to coast from tent or just use already placed outpost, kill all foxes on coast, then walk the backside marshy spot eventually youll know where every single zone can come in and youll know where to be looking everytime

hey yall I need help with something, ao basically I killed a level 9 Iberian wolf in cuatro colinas at their drinking time. And I killed the wolf and I know I did because of the hunting pressure and I saw its health drain. Find their drink zones which can be anywhere across the map , setup a tent and tripod (if you have the dlc) on zones that look good to you, multiple males typically

You won’t be able to shoot every moose on the map, just focus on shooting the biggest ones you can find

If you have feeders they also come into feeders and you can set them up as well

If your saying for you loadout though I think you need at least one smaller gun in there for small game and then I would recommend also a shotgun just to always have on you with buckshot and birdshot as the 2 ammos that you can swap between

They’re all modern and have a large roster of animals

Te Awaroa is a great map for grinding if that’s your style , Yukon is all round very solid , people are pretty divided about silver ridge peaks but I personally enjoy it

Try solo multiplayer. In there the animals tend to be more frequent at their zones.

I understand there are main zones and exterior zones, and I can find all my drink zones and choose which are main and exterior. But after that, I’m confused about what I’m supposed to be shooting in each area, when I should shoot, and how I’m supposed to rotate.

Alright. What you wanna do is setup on herd zones with 2males/2 females or 3males/2females and otherway around. Those are most consistent without almost any bouncers

In main zones you want to stack level 3s. Around 10/15 of those are enough.

In exteriors you want to have as many level 1s as you can spawn. And maybe the last 5 you still need to shoot down on the end can be low level 2 (look like level 1s). That last part is up to you if you want to go fully level 1s or not.

Just make sure you have in the end 20 shooters.
You also probably need to shoot some stacked level 3s in end game because you otherwise cannot shoot the last males in exteriors down because of lack of kills to get respawns

Try to get as many zones with 2 males and 3/4 females as your main zones and stack here your level 5s.
In the rest of the herd zones you concider exterior zones, stack here your level 2s. But i should just start with the solos to get these to level 2s. And then when thats done, switch to the exterior zones and get those to level 2. And no you will not shoot any females in any kind of zone

Not really anything special.
Just try it yourself and you will get the feeling for it.
Just make sure to get the level 3s in the zones you want. And shoot any level 3 that spawn in a exterior zone.

Normally what i personally do is do like 5 runs on solos and shoot all solos i can find. (I do this because in the beginning on a fresh population (like yours) its very easy to spawn level 2s and even level 1s) solos are a real pain the ass on the end of the grind so thats why you want to do these first. After those runs you can also add the main zones into your rotation and try to get some level 5s in there, so the last solos are easier to shoot down

Keep in mind that solos can also merge into herd zones. So they basicely using the same drink zones, but are not from the same group. Thats called sharing drinkzones

The solo in those zones act like normal solos and will respawn most likelly somewhere else as all the other solos.

Also dont pick up any solos you shoot because otherwise you can get unlucky that a g1 spawn as one of the solos and thats not very nice.
Just make sure when you done with you run that you exit to main menu. So the respawn timer will begin for those solos

OK I have rabies or something cause I do not understand this. I'm looking at the Big Coyote Tour quest in Layton Lake. I have to go around LL and take coyotes with a .270 rifle. When I look at any of the three .270 rifles. Their ammo is rated for tier 4 on the low end but a coyote is tier 2. does the game want me to overpower shoot coyotes or am I missing something?
