Just keep shooting your big whitetail, if all you want is a dime. Shoot your 2s only. eventually a 3 will spawn.

If you have a few tents, set them up inbetween lakes that are hard to get from outposts

unfortunately, waterfowl are bugged in multiplayer. You have to hunt them alone or else they'll be permanently fleeing.

big thing is noise,if your running every where your scaring everything. Second find water sources and look for drink zones and hunt along those. Rivers are great options as you can walk along them and usually find many drink zones

best thing for birds I've found is get close to water sources with space in front of you and use a caller to get them to land near you and blast them with a shot gun or 22 rifle and then a shot gun when they take off

its easier if they land in open spaces so try to pick a bush to hide in with as much clear space as possibly to encourage them to lang there, that will get you started and then you can get into tents if you have the dlc and setting of lures but if your new its not very practical starting off

Does anyone know how to fix the crash that happens when you go from joining multiplayer, to singleplayer and then to the lodge? Its crashed every time I do it.

It happens. Either you can leave it alone and mark it as an exterior zone or, what i do is shoot 1 female, collect her and leave that zone be for a few days. My males come back after a little bit.

From what I understand you get a "higher chance" of them respawning closer to exactly what they are by not picking it up... but also it really doesn't matter that much because you can just shoot them again in zone without trying to swap them and get them to shift still

Based on my understanding of the system from tracking the entire population of boar on Scotland while I do my grind, the respawn chance is essentially a free-for-all. There's a set weight-value range that acts as a bowl of sorts where the game has to have between X and Y weight on the field to keep your sizes balanced out.

Which is how herd management functions, when you have a bunch of smaller, you have more chances for larger respawns because its counter-balancing

You can absolutely have a 5 turn into a 2 in one go depending on your current population balance. It's just much more common they shift within 1 level up or down based on the space available

Yes and no. Its easier and faster to manage a small population but the downside is the rate of kills you can do within an hour. I can push my 60 population boar into a 1 in 12 dime rate but at that point I can only kill around 20 an hour.

Larger population essentially gives you a larger split between the two so you always have shooters and can kill faster. It just takes longer to manage initially

So this is a known bug from what I can tell from googling it,

Creating a loadout with a tent in it causes a break in it where you no longer own the tent.

I know how to get the tent to be recognized as owned again...

My question is. Is there a way to save a loadout where a tent in it that loadout and won't break and not be owned?

I am also unsure if this is because I put a custom skin on this particular tent. I don't think I have tried a unmodified one.
