Hello! I'm a beginner and could use some help! I already understand the game fairly well, but I wanted to ask for help on how and where to find animals and what to do with them! I'm playing on the Yukon map and I've bought the Bloodhound DLC! (I'm from Germany)

Animals can be found all over the maps! You just have to be careful and look for them. Running and making noise will scare them so go slow and quiet, use binoculars often! You can also use callers and lures to help attract them to your general direction.
Once you find animals, you can shoot them and harvest them for money and trophies or let them live! Its all up to you

If you shoot one, your bloodhound can help you find it by following the bloodtrail. If you want help finding animals in general-without shooting them first- Pointer dogs will help with that!

The zones don't "spawn" animals. Need zones are time dependent and the animals will only go to that zone during the time it says. (They can come late to the zone.)

Get diamond by shooting mid level animals, keeping the smallest ones alive. You don't want to dead zone a drink zone unless you want it to move. The zone will respawn somewhere else but you'll have to find it again. Some pressure isn't bad. But don't shoot more than 2 animals in a zone unless you're in a tripod or hunting structure (blind,etc)

You can also just look around your map. Some maps tend to have a diamond or two as an initial spawn

You can but you don't have to. I walk around and shoot things in other places to move my hunting pressure out of my drink zones, other wise it'll build up if you only shoot the same spots over and over. A good way to do this is ducks/ geese hunting with decoys/ caller.
Ill go to a spot that won't interfere with any zones i like, call them in and shoot flocks. It creates a deadzone but all hunting pressure moves off your drink zones and goes to your bird shooting zone.

If im on a map that doesn't have things I can call in, I'll stalk feed and rest zones of my target animal to try and get some mid level males i know I missed.
I do this on Te when I don't feel like duck hunting.
If you sleep a lot back to back, the price gets expensive.

go to the Range in Hirschfeldon it is a base game map if you have not unlocked it yet you can look up a video it is pretty simple you just have to run or drive to it and unlock it like an outpost and then you can fast travel to it afterwards and you sent the target rang you want use the zero you will use for that range and see how many inches high or low you and continue with each range you will shoot and with each rifle you use.

Solo respawns will go where they want. Only way to make em not move is to not shoot em.

yes. those are two separate questions. the first one was in relation to a 5 i had respawn as a solo and if i should shoot it or not. the second question was because i shot down an exterior zone but no males respawned and its only females there now

When my herds do that I shoot a female (collect her) and leave it be for a cycle or two. My males come back. Happens with my fallows and reds.
If you dont want to shoot a female, leave it and consider it an exterior now. Just check on it every now and then to see if any solo males bounce that you may need to manage.

Kinda. Bloodhound will track the blood trail to your kill. Pointer will hunt for something in a size range or (when fully leveled) track a specific species. There closest you get to a specific animal find is by using spot point on the pointer but you have to actually see the animal

I have set u a fallow grind on te awaroa. It's working but my problem is that all the big bucks are in solo zones so I'm basically only farming the small ones. Will the GO still spawn normally or is that a problem?

Yeah it can take longer. We still dont know if HM helps with the odds of the g1 spawning. So thats only a theory now and will probably always be

From my experience i did have more fallow g1’s with HM. But idk with shooting big bucks without HM.

So i can imagen if you shooting low level bucks like you said, that it can take longer

Hey, quick question to Xbox controller players.
I’m having a problem with aiming accuracy in theHunter: Call of the Wild on a gamepad. My aim feels shaky and imprecise, especially at longer distances, even when I take my time and don’t rush the shot.
Is this something everyone struggles with on controller, or is it just a matter of practice and learning the aiming mechanics?
Do you guys adjust sensitivity settings, use aim assist differently, or just get used to it over time?
Any tips from experienced controller players would be really appreciated.

Holding the left joystick down makes you take a breath, bettering your accuracy but increasing heart rate for a few seconds.

Oh, sorry. Personally, I have the max sensitivity, and try to move the right stick super lightly. Just maybe millimetres, and try to match the movement of the camera. Usually works for me.

Try lower sense. Maybe you’re sense is to high which cause the heavy shakes of the small movements you make by accident

the lever actions have less range then other rifles, but the usually have really nice penetration, i don’t use the coach mate much but it’s a 4-9 rifle i believe
