I don't know for certain, but I think it goes away if you harvest the majority of the animals that were using it. I believe I wiped out a need zone that a flock of turkeys had because I hunted all of the turkeys.

Hey im doing a HM grind for mulies on askiy ridge and ive got down to 6 main zones. everytime I finish a run I have to wait quite a while for respawns. 2 of my zones are big zones with 6 bucks each. do I need to trade the low levels from smaler heards with the big ones so i have more zones?

The numbers are genuinely arbitrary, the best way to find all your zones is just looking up a map of all possible areas and checking them each yourself
Then you’ll know for certain how many you have

You were lied to like macht said, but only partly. The herd animals that drank in that area are unlikely to come back. They’ll just have moved elsewhere, typically nearby. Solo animals, once the deadzone pressure is gone, may respawn there over time

You could get herds to spawn back again but that would require more dead zones 💀 lmao

For the weapons match the class of the animal with the class of ammo you need. Other than that it's learning, if you have questions just ask.

This is entirely my personal preference but
I’d get

• high tech hunting pack if you like to hunt when it’s dark
• the other dlc already mentioned by eagle
• rapid hunt rifle pack
• hunters choice bolt action pack

Emerald coast also comes with the 22-250 which is solid on class 2-4

As for class 1, there’s a few I’d suggest depending on your preference. 22h, 22lr (faster, quieter, larger magazine) or any of the shotguns. The 12g cacciatore is arguably the best.

The bolt action pack comes with the 375 which is killer for any big game

I’d suggest the 30-06 as well but that’s another dlc pack haha
