Yes, it's perfectly doable with a bow using 600gr arrows for the very large game. I use it regularly; it's quieter and creates a very low alert zone. Sometimes I kill one animal with the bow, and the others nearby don't realize it or just become "nervous" without knowing what's happening.

With the Brightsight sight with telemetry, you have three zeroing points: 20m, 40m, and 60m. For very large game, 60m is fine, but it's better to be around 40m (ish) or more, and aim for the vital organs.

Don't use 300gr arrows; you'll have the entire herd charge you. 😂 If possible, use a tree stand, tripod or a ground blind; that will protect you.

A PC's worst enemy is heat (It's not me 😆 ).
You could check the fans in your tower, power supply fan, especially the CPU and graphics card fans.

It also depends on your cooling system. It's somewhat normal for your PC to generate much more heat, as the CPU and graphics card are under heavy load when you play a game. The more you demand of them, the more heat they produce. You can also contact your technician and ask them to suggest a cooling system for your components.

For the birds, I did the Salzwiesen Park missions. It's different; you have to do a full setup for the missions, but at the same time, you'll have the chance to get something good (or something valuable)

I use the .22LR rifle with the Odin scope, zoomed out all the way before starting.
The best and maximum effective number for the decoy is 15.
Foxpro x360.

I use the Duck Blind (part of a DLC) So i can see them circling high in the sky above my head.

I thought that by putting out 15 (decoys), it was 5x5x5 for the geese, meaning three types of decoy.
For birds that only have two (types), male and female, if I wanted a nice male, I would place 10 females and 5 males; that's the logic in nature.

50?!? Ho... I don't use a scope with the 12g. Nothing to blind my peripheral vision that's why I'm at 25m zeroing, have the perk activated so that when I hold my breath without a scope, it stabilizes the shot and provides a slight zoom.
I don't set up my decoys like that with other animals; I keep them out of the same line of sight, as birds barely have a sense of smell.
A law of nature that the game represents well is that birds must land facing the wind. Knowing this, they will make their approach right in front of you. You watch them make a big circle in the sky, and when they turn to face me for their landing, that's when I spot the good one.

They must be shot down in flight. blast them just before they land with the 12g; I have time to fire at least 3 shots. After the first shot, a good portion will make a 180-degree turn and use the wind to escape this time. That's when I switch to the .22.

Stalker- Get the necessities that make it significantly easier to hunt. These would be Locate tracks, Only happy when it rains, track knowledge, soft feet, improvised blind, innate triangulation, endurance, and disturbed vegetation.

Ambusher- Again, the necessities. A lot of the skills in the ambusher tree are straight useless like Hill caller or Tag. Just work to get Spotting knowledge, sight spotting, and fatal attraction. Only put one point into scent tinkerer, dazed and confused, and fatal attraction to be able to spend all your points the best way.

Perks.

Rifles- Max out everything except windage. You can get Focused shot if you use iron sights a lot but you won't have a point to spend some where else. Remember to activate zeroing.

Handguns- Spend one point in everything except Survival Instinct and Quick draw, since these two are useless. Max out lightning hands.

Shotguns- Spend one point in Both eyes open and Body control. Max out Fast shouldering and Recoil management. The other two perks have no use since you'll have zeroing activated instead.

Archery- Don't spend anything here. Everything is just about useless. I've had great success with bows without any of these perks.

There are 17 hunting reserves, including the two base maps.
Some are set in winter, others have different topographies and different animal species. You really have to play them to get a good idea of what they're like. You can look at videos and comments, but tastes vary.

Me what i would do if i really like the game and i had the money to by all DLC's i need i would because they're all are on sale (ATV, Tents & Blinds, the 3 dogs, weapons attachments scopes and crosshairs, bow and crossbow) sprays i don't use, it's time to by them, until Oct. 6
Especially if the person decides to switch from console to PC, it would be a lesser evil.
Also, you must purchase at least one DLC in addition to the base game to be able to play online/multiplayer.
Also, you can't cross-platform in multiplayer. That means if you're on PC, all other participants must be on PC as well, and vice versa. If you host a multiplayer server on PC, everyone who wants to join also needs to be on PC.

How can I explain this as clearly as possible?
To have your shot land exactly where you want it, you must be physically at the same distance as your zero point. The further away or closer you get, the more you'll have to calculate where your arrow (or bullet) will go based on that zero.

Use your binoculars to gauge the distance, then you can adjust your zeroing distance to match where you are. A good way to demonstrate this is with the bow and the Brightsight sight with ranging.

Take this tree as an example: I'm physically at 20m, my zeroing distance is set to 20m, and the arrow hits dead center in the sight. Now, look what happens if I move back to 40m but leave my zeroing distance set to 20m you have to ham higher to compensate the distance, if you're aiming the longs 25m don't do much difference you will hit, but if you are aiming for the heart it make's a big difference.

It's always the middle zeroing point the default one. To get the third zeroing point, you have to unlock the skill. I hate that it defaults; sometimes I set it to 75m and when I take out my weapon, it automatically switches back to 150m. Grrr, it should always stay on the one you set.

You need to pitch your tent 200m - 250m away from the need zone, otherwise he will hear you. 250m is certain, this applies to all animals.

For me, early on, it was the tent, the treestands/blinds, and the Bloodhound. Especially at the beginning, you'll wound the animal more than anything else. If you don't want to track your game all over the place for 600m and lose it, you need the dog. The ATV is useful, particularly when starting out on a reserve, as you'll sometimes have to cover long distances.

Personally, my favorite weapon is the CB-70 bow with the Brightsight sight. For large game, any weapon that reaches Class 9 will do. As for your hunting style, you'll discover that for yourself.

You really can’t. The best thing for you to do is to manage that zone down. I tried in many different places to grind that zone and it didn’t work, unless you plan on grinding that zone like Pheasants and put a tent right on top of the zone with a ground blind right in front of the tent.

• when starting the game, I would say focusing on learning the map and doing the missions/exploring is the best for learning
  • and making money
  • getting a feel for how the everything goes
  • seeing the habits of your target species, and finding their zones as well as learning times for hunting them per zone type (feeding, resting, drinking)
• great ones can trigger off of any male of the target GO species, to my knowledge. Could be one kill - could be thousands.
  • going for this too early can and will cause burnout much of the time
• killing females of your GO species won't spawn a GO and might shift where respawns happen (male swapping with a female for a zone maybe - not all the time tho), but also in early game - females are also a source of money.

Howdy! Glad you're getting into the game. I always tell people that as far as dlcs go, there isn't a "meta" or "best" dlc. Purchase things you are interested in using or reserves you want to hunt on in singleplayer. As far as base game, I would recommend getting the 7mm as soon as possible, and rack up shotgun score as much as you can

By light bleed you mean it's bleed rate? Yeah that's usually just a result of your shot placement and what caliber you used, usually a low bleed rate wouldn't drop it in twenty feet but that's not too wierd

I used the duck blinds, but that was mostly for Salsweisen. As for the geese, I don't have them, so I can't say.
It depends more on how you'll be hunting the bird: shotgun, .22LR, bow, or handgun?
