it took me like 500 or 600 fallow kills for my only G1 and that was considered quick
plus ignoring all the other kills I did for tahr and wt and red deer and other stuff that I never got a g1 for

Yea 500 - 600 is a short grind

And believe me, when I say 43 kill grind for tahr, I still had 1.5k for whitetail, 2k for red deer, at the time I also had an ongoing bear grind, moose grind etc (red deer and bear finished now tho)

Some grinds take literally no time and some are just way too long

Depends on how much the game loves you in the moment lol

Ok I'm stupid but not. I've done this to an area of layton, where I can find really good whitetail and blacktail zones next to water. I've explored most of the top part of the map and the bottom just isn't preferable. Too much swamp grass and weeds to see through. But that area doesn't offer much else to me and i don't really wanna aimlessly wander.

Turn the lights on. Or you spooked them before they got to zone.

It’ll be pricey but I recommend just setting a tent 250 out. On a lake set time to 6:30. Main menu. Move 1 min forward when back in and then go check. If not there pick up tent and go to next lake and repeat. It’ll take more time and money but best bet to find your missing tigers.

1. Yes you do. Although the zeroing perk you can pick up can take a lot of that guesswork out for bullet drop.
2. They allow you to fast travel, reset time (rest), and buy/change inventory

The higher the level the longer it takes. But the low pressure will disappear in 2 or 3 kills elsewhere

Another note with blinds or stands is the pressure you build in the actually go away faster too. They very very good to use on frequent spots

In my opinion Te awaroa is a terrible casual hunting map, its alot of forest and not many species. but it is amazing for Fallow,Red deer and Tahr grinds. But with emerald coast its pretty open in the top and bottom third of the map (as you might of seen). pretty easy to make money off of the coast, also has fallow deer and red deer but they are abit harder to grind on there. and amazing for casual hunts

Just personal preference. I enjoy the smaller private feeling maps. I’d say don’t limit yourself to buying one of those two. Go on multiplayer and feel out a bunch of different maps. Silver Ridge, Yukon, and Medved are heavily slept on my maps in my opinion.

With the salz map for the great one fox there’s the island method where u manage down all “main land” foxes (so all the ones off the left side island) and only grind the island foxes. Sometimes foxes will just not show up, and people have noticed if u shoot a fox off the main land, the island foxes will start showing again

So since I shoot a very low amount of tigers, sometimes they’ll vanish, I’ll have to shoot a third tiger and sometimes it has them come back

I doubt it’s what’s happening for u since ur grinding a larger amount but it just shows how shooting yak up north might help since grinded animals will act odd

I went over all the ponds on left side of the map twice thoroughly on my Askiy mule deer grind and have a total of 24 zones, is it safe to say I got them all? I went through all of the ponds and walked them after the drink time and picked up tracks on any I missed, I also reset the time and came back to any I didn't find a zone on

I have been hunting Canada geese on the Hirschfelden map. In the morning, the geese were flying as usual, but around noon they suddenly disappeared and never flew again. I restarted the game, but it didn’t fix the issue. No geese appeared in other areas of the map either. What could be the reason for this? Is it a bug or part of the game mechanics?

Try setting ur tent a bit further away from the area, then change the time to around 8 and then fast travel to that same tent. that may work im not sure. Also if the birds fly down but then instantly flee, move your blind further away

Yes I would. To hm, you need to stack level 3s in main zones and stack level 1s is zones you won’t hunt. You need to kill all the deer that don’t fit that description in order to respawn into level 1s and 3s

Obviously you don’t need every 2 shot down, but shoot a lot of them down

The Cacciatore 12 gauge hold the most shots of any shotgun in the game (6) and can kill a good 3-4 geese easy (depending on your aim) but it’s a pump action, so the action of the shotgun doesn’t give the best speed, so if you want speed for the same amount of shots, use two Nordin 20SA’s they’re semi automatic
