I’ve reset time many of times literally have spent a whole in game day waiting and can’t get this flock to come back. you could be a bit close to your decoys or it’s because of the bug w birds where in mp they spook pretty fast, try using a caller and waiting it out or move to a different area where they flew

A pretty good way to earn cash is to hunt the crocs on Emerald Coast, they're really easy to hunt and they pay a decent amount
If you don't have the DLC you should be able to play the map on multiplayer

And no, there isn't a way to know exactly how many zones you have for a species on a map, but there are approximations

For example: Moose have 110± zones on Layton, could be a bit more, or a bit less

Whitetail have 65± on Layton

You basically have to run your map to the point that you know you have all your zones

Everybody's map has the same home range for every species on every map, meaning that where I can find Moose, you can also find them in the exact same areas

For the most part our zones will be very similar, but they won't be 1:1, so while we might share for example, 40% of our zones' locations, the rest won't be at the exact spot, but they will still be in the same area

So we might have zones in the same lake, but not exactly at the same spot in the lake

But again, it's a possibility for them to be at the exact same spot

Here's a little tip, when finding drink zones, go into a private multiplayer server by yourself (or with friends if you'd like)

For whatever reason, the game pushes your animals into your drink zones a lot more than in single player

For reference, I ran my Layton 5 times for Whitetail (had 59 zones), then I did 1 run on a private multiplayer server and I found 5 zones almost immediately (got to 64 zones, and my respawns started working properly)

And this didn't happen to just me, it has happened to a lot of ppl

you can only assign traits to the main job of the dog that is assosiated with its breed

so a bloodhound will only be able to have his tracker skill buffed with traits and his secondary pointer skill will have no traits to buff it

Bloodhounds will innately be better at tracking than a cross trained pointer
Pointers will be better at pointing/flushing etc than a cross trained hound

Stalker- Get the necessities that make it significantly easier to hunt. These would be Locate tracks, Only happy when it rains, track knowledge, soft feet, improvised blind, innate triangulation, endurance, and disturbed vegetation.

Ambusher- Again, the necessities. A lot of the skills in the ambusher tree are straight useless like Hill caller or Tag. Just work to get Spotting knowledge, sight spotting, and fatal attraction. Only put one point into scent tinkerer, dazed and confused, and fatal attraction to be able to spend all your points the best way.

Perks.

Rifles- Max out everything except windage. You can get Focused shot if you use iron sights a lot but you won't have a point to spend some where else. Remember to activate zeroing.

Handguns- Spend one point in everything except Survival Instinct and Quick draw, since these two are useless. Max out lightning hands.

Shotguns- Spend one point in Both eyes open and Body control. Max out Fast shouldering and Recoil management. The other two perks have no use since you'll have zeroing activated instead.

Archery- Don't spend anything here. Everything is just about useless. I've had great success with bows without any of these perks.

is anyone on ps4 experiencing an uproar of different bugs? Clicking on the map to place a way point doesn't do anything and brings up the normal UI text, but neither highlighted, but when you go to scroll through it replaces the "place waypoint" text to "cancel" so you're left with 2 UI texts saying cancel, then exiting map to try to fix it and going back in only disables the cursors click function completely, only fix is restarting app.

Tufted ducks on Salz never show up at placed decoys just randomly on whims, or will, haven't found any pattern, 2 locations ive sat at that I have set ups on, have used before with no problem, never come in even if I wait IRL for a full in game 24 hours, ive tried restarting app, changing maps, they just decide to show up whenever, if they ever do.

When teleporting from one tent to a pickup tent across a body of water on TA, dog doesn't teleport with you, but instead will catch up with you from the previous tent, only to swim across the body of water, wasting in game grind time.
(Ive had 2 fallow bucks just disappear, one was a floater at the top right lakes, fast traveled to my pickup tent/doubled next zone tent, shot my next zone, went to pick up floater so I tpd back to that tent, and it was gone, but no where for it to float to?
Second was just a buck I didn't get any organ hits on so I had to track, dog decided to track in the lake and swim instead of on land where the tracks were, then when harvest was found, there was no body.)

Zeroing for shotguns seems like its stuck on one setting even when switching zeroing, could just be me, but before the dlc release I definitely didnt experience an increase in missed water fowl shots since its what ive been grinding for lately, I use cat 12g, but even tested with strandberg, zeroing didnt seem to affect projectile spread/where birdshot landed. Haven't tested with buckshot or slugs for either.

Any clarity on all these ive came across in the past 72 hours would be appreciated!!!

I am not stacking figured just tenting to zones and shooting the males would be easier and faster. Hi Im trying to do a red deer grind on emerald coast and im using my tents to try to set the time and get them to appear at there drink point like on youtube videos when they sleep the deer just "appear" there and they start shooting but when i sleep and go to the spot theres nothing. the tent is 220-230m away from the nearest point there are 3 drink zones where i am rn i would assume atleast 1 lone deer should be here but no nothing i have to wait for them to get here which takes long enough to be at the end of the drink time and then i have to sleep again practically wasting money. if anyone can help that would be appreciated.
