I’m trying to set up a mule deer grind it’s my first time selling up a grind. Is anybody able to walk me through how to set it up

pick your 8-10 best/favourite zones and every other zone on the map should only have level 1 and 2 deer (no big 2’s) and keep rotating on your zones until all of your other zones have only lvl 1-2 deer, after that just keep rotating and shooting every male from your 8-10 best zones

i have been playing the hunter for years now, not much but here and there a few hours on xbox. i always have this annoying bug where i have the sound of going through bushes for minutes without even bushes near me, just because i past one bush before... i have reported that bug multiple times but it does not get fixxed... is that something only i encounter? its really annoying

This has been in the game since launch. I highly doubt they will ever be able to fix it. Apparently now, they want us to send them coordinates of the bushes that have the "bug" but sometimes a bush will make the sound and other times the same bush will be okay to walk through. Frustrating stuff for sure.

We need an option to turn off head bobble when moving. I've purchased every dlc on both pc and a lot on PS, but can't play anymore as the head bobble seems to have gotten worse and makes me want to puke. It's been worse since I tried a different VR game and got VR sick, but this is just annoying. Why the hell isn't there a way to disable it. I've seen other people posting about it too. you could use stuff like 270, 308, 30 06 legally but if you dont wanna have to run 400 meters every kill then its advisable to at a minimum use 7mm, 338, 300, 375, 44/454 etc

and if you have no dlc then the only good rifle calibers to use on moose is 7mm/338

you dont shoot any and every animal with 338 or 7mm

you shoot the animals its ethical for which is outlined in game when looking at the ammo/rifle

"legal" is just what i end up using to describe the range of animals that the caliber is ethical to shoot, most people just say ethical

and harvest checks is
you must be using an ethical caliber for the animal
you must not shoot the animal more then twice
you must hit a vital organ on the animal (lungs, heart, liver, neck, brain
you must not damage the trophy organ for the animal (eg shooting the skull of a whitetail)

and if you fail those then it will make a gold into a silver or diamonds into a gold etc

and you earn less money, xp, score etc

you can but shooting a whitetail doe will give you less money/xp etc and award no trophy rank as it doesnt have antlers which is what its trophy score is based on for whitetail

the game tries to balance a spread of every score of animal accross and map and killing a high rank generally will respawn a "similarly" high rank, killing a low rank will respawn a "similarly" low rank in an attempt to keep the spread of animal scores relatively in order so your map isnt just 100 bronze animals

some species like fox that have paired groups will require you kill both genders to get a respawn, some animals like beavers have high scoring females so hunting for trophies you generally shoot females but can shoot both genders, gemsbok you can shoot both genders though females score higher, deer species like whitetail, elk, moose where they dont have a trophy score (cos no antlers) it isnt worth shooting females, some horned species like goats arnt worth shooting females because allthough they have horns they dont score highly and are usually bronze

you can still kill female deer and stuff if you want to but it gives you less income and doesnt award any medal and just adds hunting pressure so its not reallyt worth it
