If I know what you're asking, no the animals won't just appear at the zone, they will travel in from wherever they were

Depending on where they walk in from, they may walk right past your friend, but they might come from somewhere else

i really like New England for bowhunting, while I prefer Yukon and Layton for hiking through the marshy areas with a rifle or muzzleloader

Depending on where you hunt, some will be more focused on stalking through vegetation and having closer range hunts, while others will be at longer ranges

since animals can be needing within like an 80-100m radius of the zone (unless something is in the way)

A bit late here, but know that even if you do happen to spawn a cinnamon that NEM missions are known to be quite... buggy, to say the least and it has been reported that even if you spot a cinnamon it won't register. So you may kill hundreds of bears to then not even have the mission work correctly.

I have a question about hm for fallow on te awaora I notice that on the videos I watch they say to shoot 3s and above unless they are diamond then you can stack but I’ve noticed that I almost rarely ever find 2s or 1s so I just don’t know if that’s bad almost every male fallow I find is a 3-4

What worked for me was leaving the high enough 4s and of course 5s and shoot down only 3s to spawn more 2s. Did spawn over 30 2s into my single zones like this. But also, it takes time and patience.

Anybody having a problem on Salzwiesen where ducks won't come to decoys or calls if you're in the area? They'll come in swarms if I'm 300 meters away because I hear the mating calls but otherwise they just don't come. Typically animals render out around 420-450 yards. All depends on elevation, but I postulate the y0 render to be around 440 yards

it's quite dated now

and sometimes it's so aggregious it gets in the way of gameplay like when you're checking the straw fields on cuatro and you see a deer then poof a hay bale renders infront of the animal as you zoom in with binos

also I don't know if this was a bug but I've seen moose themselves (when you're not zoomed in) unrender at 180 meters for some reason and it was really annoying because I would easily see them if they were rendered in cos it's a dark brown silhouette on a white backdrop (Medved)

1. Find your zones. Doesn’t have to be every single zone but it’s best to find roughly 95%
2. Choose 8-12 zones with 1 or 2 males and multiple females. Set up a tent 250m away with a tripod. For long or difficult walks put another tent on the zone to make claiming easier
3. Set the time to 10 and go through those zones killing the males and claiming them

I have 7 tents up on medved for moose grind (cant afford more) and i have about 120 drink zones

Then you aren’t ready for a grind. For an effective grind you’ll need all 16 tents

diamond do not have any consistant percentage chance to spawn

you can have a "50% spawn rate" or a "0% spawn rate" just based on the difficulty distribution of your animals on your map and what animals your shooting

I usually set up my tents around 250m away from my set up zones or I just set the time to about 5 to 10 minutes prior to that zones active period if it's my first in set up rotation. That way that zone's animals have time to render off my position and also travel to the zone.
