If the lake is covered with hunting pressure, yes but if theres a bit that doesn't have hunting pressure if could go there.

Lakes you don't want to hunt you need to 4s 3s and 2s lakes you want to hunt you kill everything at them to shoot down the outer lakes faster it's best to get a lot of 9s and 8s in them

well hm is an aspect of grinding

there's stacking which is specifically keeping high level animals alive at certain zones and then killing medium sized animals to try and force small respawns so that you can herd manage (kill the big ones) and since you stacked it means all your outer zones are all small and it's more likely to spawn big at the main zones

but I there really should be a distinction between duck/geese and rabbit/turkey calibers

I would use larger 22 calibers (223, 22 250) on turkey or rabbit but not on like a duck

Hi, I'm fairly new (with some DLC's) and I've been playing for a little while. I'm looking for tips on ammo types because I've run into an issue where I'm using a rifle that says it's the right class for the animals I'm hunting but I Can't seem to get double lung shots and anything short of a heart shot will leave me running a marathon unless I plant a second shot, at the moment I'm running a 270. Stradivarius and a Malmer 7mm magnum (rifles) usually with polymer rounds. my biggest issues are with class 8 and 9 and even 7 sometimes. am I making a mistake?

-Get Diamonds, Rares, and Great Ones.

Just go on a few maps, walk around a bit and take your time to get warm with the game again. You never know what walks around on your map so just go for it and maybe you'll even find a few trophy worthy animals again. And whilst doing this you might even get the money you need for the goose farm.

The truth is I was surprised by the change that thehunter-call-of-the-wild had in its company, the one that left and the new one that came in, but they really commit to giving us a better game since many reserves leave a lot to be desired in the game, the performance of some very heavy reserves with so many trees, trees on trees, stones on stones is very exaggerated, with so many trees and stones that they put into each reserve, the game becomes very heavy.

Here's a question: are zones "dynamic"? In that sometimes, no matter what time, there will just not be any animals at the zone even though (according to the map) it's an active zone? Would I need to kill animals at other zones to "cycle" them to those with no animals?

the animals will take a random amount of time to arrive at their zone based on where the herd is on the map and that can also be effected by you spooking them or a predator spooking them

So, like, the entire right-hand coast of Te Awaroa. I have multiple Fallow drink zones there but I have yet to see an actual Fallow at any of those zones. I picked them up by nabbing the tracks at the waters' edge. I have waited in tripods and sat in bushes for the entire drink duration with no Fallows ever at those zones.

you can't take stupidly risky shots (though sometimes you can take shots from like 1/11 o clock from the deer) as long as you have a partial broadside it's pretty easy to penetrate into the lungs unless you're trying to shoot 350+ meters

I have done broadside lung shots at 400 with the 22 250 on does but they is very inconsistent

I'm not too sure what you even mean by "missing when I'm at vitals" do you mean underpenetrating when you take a vital shot?

also I will mention that like sure it isn't as powerful as 243 or 7.62x39 etc but that should just be a given since its 22 250
