weird question here but I was wondering if anyone might know how many zones I need for a mountain goat grind, I really want a diamond and I also think it would be fun to grind for them.

I’m kinda newer to the game trying to grind caribou for a diamond. I’ve started setting up herd management for them I’m just unsure of what I should be shooting. Is it only 4s? If there are 2 4s do I shoot the better one? If I have zones with more than one 3 do I shoot it? I’ve shot probably 300 caribou

I mean yeah that's what happens when you get 300 grains of big boy at like 2500fps with a 375" diameter

its alot bigger then a .300 magnum that's prolly 200 grain on a 308 diameter bullet (but it isn't 3000fps muzzle velocity like a 300 magnum)

it does struggle a lot more at range/hitting a moving target though compared to other more efficient higher velocity calibers though

Quick question guys, I know for deer and such where the antlers are the trophy you can actually see a difference between all the ratings like silver gold diamond. But for things like ducks where it’s about weight do they actually look bigger depending on the rating/weight?

guys, does anyone knows about how the tigers respawn is working ? the last video that i saw, said that it took about 11 minutes to do it, but i think that it isn't work at all. I'm grinding with 16 tends spread over main lakes, and always that i reset the time and check those spots, the tigers almost never respawn. I know that they walk alone, and kill one, breaks de need zone. But its boring to grind, if they arent there.

Can someone help me I’ve been doing a moose grind on medved and this is my first grind too and I’ve looked over and over for all my drink locations and found a lot and I’ve set up my tents at my areas (200+) yards away atleast as to not scare them and I found this area with a lot of moose maybe 10-15 two drink zones right next to eachother and I come back and they never spawn I’ve tried setting my time back a little and going to the main menu but nothing seems to work?

I dont think thats a sign of a great one, just means your deer are respawning at diff zones, be careful not to kill to many or youll delete the herd

you are able to stack an infinite number of the same category of tent or ground blind for the same weight as one but you can't stack multiple differant types otherwise it adds weight for each type

and using only one type of tent means you can still carry like 4 long weapons

also carrying tents and blinds at the same time is kinda redundent since you can just place down your tent and then grab a blind at any point

also btw I do not recommend using backpacks @unique ridge

backpacks are a massive hindrance to your ability to get close to animals

at the same time so it stacks 3 weights of tents (18 units) instead of just carrying
tent Camo - 3 (3 Camo tents) which is just the weight of 1 tent (6 units)

20kg is plenty to be able to carry a tent, 3 or 4 weapons and some callers/scopes/binos

cos a tent weighs 6 units then you have 14 units of weight left which can for example be
3 units for 6.5mm rifle
2 units for 22 250 rifle
3.5 units for 12 gauge shotgun
4 units for 375 rifle
.5 unit for 1 binos
1 unit for 2 scopes
and that's 20 units of weight

it's just not massively useful to use callers on the go as it takes a while to lure animals in and requires you be a bit sedentary and plus you can use the caller within a 200 meter range of yourself it'll just lure the animals to the caller instead of you meaning you can set yourself off to the side and observe from range as the animal comes in

so the reasoning of the game is

1. I find the areas where the animals eat, sleep or drink
2. I position myself nearby with a tent to sleep in and a camouflage tent
3. I position the electronic recall and activate it
4. I sleep until 1 hour before the animal arrives and wait

if you're positioning yourself at a need zone you don't have to call animals in unless you specifically want to displace them for some reason

hello i have a problem in the whitetail grind. I cannot get any respawns because i am not getting enough kills in my run and i am herd managing. I cannot shoot anything in my main zones because i have too many lvl 3s stacked and i cant shoot anything in exterior zones because they are not spawning any whitetail (i have 2 exterior zones i need to manage down)
so could someone please help me

I put up a ground blind, laid the dog down and left the tent a bit far away. Activated the electronic call and put on the spray for the scents. After 10 real minutes the bear approached but at 100 meters it ran away. I didn't move. Both the noise and sight symbols were at zero.
What did I do wrong?

its super easy to get dime ibex on cuatro since most of the species only have 10 to 15 zones each so you can check all your zones super quickly

if youre only hunting the same herds youll probably get blocked from a dime respawn by an undiscovered dime

i wouldnt say theres a solid cap but you sorta need to fight the laws of equivlent exchange

the game will sorta "force" a certain distrubution of animal difficulty/trophy ratings to spawn

if you kill a level 1 itll respawn around the same trophy rating/level

same goes for a level 9

If they are downwind the scent eliminator will not completely hide it. It is still better to be upwind of the animal. My best advice is set it to drink time (about 5-6 should work for layton) then find a bear that's drinking and stalk it.

For hming its a good idea to see all the drinking zones just so you know the bears that are on your map and then you kill the bears until you have low level ones on the lakes you're not hunting on so you have a higher chance of getting diamonds, rares or great one on the lakes you're going around

Finding all your male bears is very helpful. I got all 50 of my black bear males up in the 6 lakes and I dont hm I just shoot what ever I see leading to 5-6 kills per lake. Also helps to know if you have a diamond or rare initial spawn.
