To not mess the trophy of an animal hit a vital,use the right caliber,dont shoot more than twice and dont destroy the trophy organ which is the head for deer

Loner deer (bucks not part of a herd) usually have a few zones in an area they can respawn in. It's annoying but once you shoot them down to a low level then you don't have to worry about them

Pick a zone with a big herde, set up tripod, kill biggest male. Watch for hunting pressure off course, go for other animal on a different zone to make the pressure go down. And repeat. I play Australian map right now so go kill Crocs to lower the pressure on other zones, change time and go for chosen animal again.

Swap your females with males

Shoot a female in a main zone, don't pick it up, shoot a mail in an exterior, don't pick it up, leave and come back, there's a 50/50 chance that they swap zones

Do that until you get your 4 lakes to males only

Idk if you can shoot multiple females and males at a time tho

Also make sure to do it after about 15 minutes after your last Bear harvested on that map, so there aren't any Bear in the respawn pool

i think animals hang out around their need zones, so like a 100 meter radius or something. You might also have to be very quiet when approaching it because it might spook them

same thing happened to me when i was trynna find a caribou, I went back to the same zone at the same time but he wasn't there. I came back a few times and he was finally there but at a completely different area of the need zone.

idk if the game is that realistic to the point where if the need zone is 6:00 to 10:00 it would take shorter or longer of a time for that turkey to reach that need zone, so it wouldn't really be there exactly at 6:00

and would maybe like arrive at 6:30 in-game time

and sometimes the turkey would arrive at like 7:00 instead the next in-game day
