For me personally yeah, it's my favourite rifle from the entire game

white/blacktail deer does dont have antlers and thus dont have a trophy score, some female animals can get trophy score if they have the trophy type like with ibex, crocs, rabbits etc because ibex have horns, and crocs are based on legnth (unisex trait) and rabbits are based on weight (unisex trait)

technically irl whitetail does can get antlers but not ingame so they dont get trophy score

and difficulty 1 (male) whitetails dont score gold

whitetails go up to difficulty 3 and 1 can only be like bronze/silver, 2 can be silver gold or diamond and 3 is usually gold or diamond

the accuracy stat just effects the scope sway of the rifle

where the bullet lands depends on where your gun is zeroed to, the distance youre shooting relative to your zero distance and very slightly wind "could" effect it

but with rifles wind deflection is minimal

also if you wanna know where to aim for vitals then just jump to this comment and ive got some diagrams and explanation

also how quickly the animal goes down does not effect the trophy rating unless you fail the harvest check

it just can effect your money/xp/session score reward

depends what traits you need out of it

the M1 is semi auto with 8 rounds and is 30 06 which is a bit stronger then 303 but also kicks alot more (the 303 is still very competent for 4-8 though) and the lee Enfield (fl sporter) kicks less then 30 06 and 7mm and has 5 rounds and is a bolt action and the 7mm is the strongest out of them all and is legal for class 9s but kicks a ton and only has 3 rounds and is a bolt action

also the lee Enfield has less scope sway

and with the lee Enfield you have detachable mags to reload while the malmer is port loaded

You have to pick it up everytime you want to switch to a different spot.

If you're doing waterfowl it's easier to put 20 decoys down for the species you're hunting

Open map and see if there is a dedicated place to hunt them.

well in general you wanna avoid shooting bones (exept for the neck which is a legal shot and drops on the spot) since most bones don't really hurt animals much but your luck on if it'll penetrate and hit a vital depends on the animal and the rifle and the distance and shot placement

there might be some game logic on making the bullet penetrate less if it hits bones but I haven't noticed it being exceptionally impactingful

also there's not much use in using the soft points over polymer tips exept for very few situations

You get red deer and fallow and soon enough you'll have tahr as well

Red deer pay alot and grinding them is a good way to gain cash quickly fallow also pay decently well

The problem with emerald coast imo is hunting in the mangroves and other forested areas where alot of drink zones are Te Awaroa makes your life easier for setting up tents and tripods

The entire Western side of the map is good, as well as the twin lakes in the North and you’ll occasionally find them in the center of the map and on the very western tip of the river system.

Personally I’d wait for them to release on Te Awaroa, but if you’re looking to start it now, I’d recommend running around and finding zones on Sundar that are in relatively open areas (mid region of Pahad has a lot of these) with at least 4 females in them. There you can take out as many males as are in the zone and they’ll always respawn.

soo power pack is nice for shotgun and arzyna .300
ambuszer pack has .44 and recurve (which .44 lever is awesome)
power pack has 7mm bolt which is nice if u are using tents (since it covers 4-9 alone)
and weapon pack 1 has 22

i always been running beach on emerald coast

u get like 800-1200 per crock and they are everywhere

u just camp with decoys and you can kill 5 ducks at one magazine

well from maps for new players i recomend these :
yukon (awesome species like wolfs grizzlys caribous or moose)
rev big nice map for birds but u have salz soo yea
emerald coast cuz crocks cangoros lots of deer species and 2 nice birds species tho they kinda hard to hun)
and u have sundarpatan
also if u wanna grind for first GO i recomend layton for whitetail (but apparently rev is better)
and te awaroa for fallow and red deer which are easy to manage and have 30-35 zones for fallow and bit more for red deer

and red deer is jeleń szlachetny
