I have a question that may not be able to be answered but I just need some reassurance ngl
I’ve been playing since December of 2021 and I have 500 hours on and off
I barely have any diamonds and I’ve always had more rares than anything
Recently I’ve been getting a lot of rares back to back, I got my first super rare on December 27th and my second in January, and recently got a ton of rares back to back wolves off the same lake, 3 in one zone
I post clips to YouTube and I get people saying that I’m modding when I am not, I haven’t touched mods since 2022 as I became reliant on them and I only used a speed boost mod, I don’t know how to mod furs and diamonds
Basically I’m just asking if that’s normal? Do I just have luck or is there a reason I’m getting more rares than diamonds? Thanks 🙏

It’s all from my maps yes, I’ve only gotten a few things from multiplayer

Multiplayer has the risk of being modded
Its hard to prove it was all modded, but there are some obvious earmarks

• constant GO population
• constant rare/SR population
• animals being valued WAY more than worth in
  • Money
  • XP recieved
  • Weight/Score
• players with 60+ level.
  • Even if they claim to be a Dev - do know that live builds are different from Dev Builds. We have seen it on streams when Jaxy has had to show us things, and will say "oh this is a Dev Control account, not MY account" or whatever
• players moving ultra fast (speedhacks)
• animals dying en masse

While you may not even be the one modding - coming across a modded map can in fact alter your game, in terms of breaking or adding animals.

Now.. If you are SURE none of that applies, it could just be good Herd Management doin the lords work for you.
Ultimately, killing many of the same animal species on a map will encourage better respawns, and its only a matter of time before rares pop up - and even SRs at that.

You can only “spot point” (dog points the animal you have spotted) but you cannot have it track a specific animal by tracks, only the species, so if you’re tracking a red deer the dog will look for a red deer scent but not THE red deer scent you’re following

a question from me. as i know every species on a map has an amount of potential max weight animals, is it possible maybe by accident and a really bad managemet that they dissappear? - my situation is, im trying to get a diamond WT-jackrabbit on layton.. my first rotation all over the map i found 4 rabbits with potential max weight track, all of them where lvl 2, now i have done 3/4 of the map in my second rotation and i found none, even at the places where i saw them in the first rota. am i unlucky and all of then are in the last 1/4 of the map? .. maybe ther are less than 4 and some of them i found in first rotation where already respawns? anyone has an idea?

Check if the original host is over lvl 60, and check for things like no animals spooking or original host speed hacks etc, also look out for the things thag pop up bottom left, if you see someone get like 10 animals a second every second then they're probably cheating

(Cheating is almost only a pc thing, I've never encountered a cheater in my 2.8k hours on ps personally)

np. between 4am and 8pm seems to be their rest times but I've never worried about what time I go hunt them.

good thing about emerald is you can pick up Banteng as well. drink times are something like 6pm-8pm and both crocs and banteng can be found on the beach. some of the feed times and zones for banteng are also next to the beach so there's lots of opportunity for xp and cash

If you had saved the diamond harvests/taxidermized them - they should technically still exist?

if you're using a long range rifle it's pretty hard to wiff the lungs of a bovine asuming it has decent penetration and you atleast have a partial broadside
