Herd management is a way to get more diamonds

1. Choose your main zones
2. Setup on the main zones and start shooting any level males except for level 9
3. Once you have around 12 level 9s stacked in the mains (could be more if you want) go to the exteriors and shoot them down to level 2-4s( or level 5 males aswell if you want to be quicker but less effective)
4. Once that’s done return to the mains, kill the 9s, and continue shooting any males that spawn in them

It takes several hundred kills to really get going

Main zones = zones you want to grind long term
Exterior zones = anything that isn’t a main

Is hunting from prone position bugged? Many times, I can clearly see targets from my scope but the final shot end up hitting the ground, you can't tell this from scope alone, they look normal. The Howl trait is useful to make your dog go from Heel to Idle. They must be in Idle mode to activate Critical Position, which is when they whimper and warn you that you're about to spook an animal. If you go Prone at their warning, the animal will relax and you can continue to get closer (very useful with the Bow).

zeroed in perfectly and there's nothing between the gun and targets - in elevated position i.e. gun poking out from an edge of a rock. Clearly there's a bug, my playing style is basically - hiding in prone position and shooting. I've checked it with many cases, I even shot after checking my position and making sure I'm laying on a perfect plat surface but still this happens.

Hello I have a few questions about completing the Peppe Chalenge achievement maybe someone has completed it in other ways than running around the map with a decoy and picking out the whole herd 🙂

1. is it possible to use crossbow to unlock this achievement ?
2. do you have to cull the whole herd in one session ?

3. If I kill only a male from the herd, then wait until the respawn and kill the male who has just rested then repeat this step 5 times on the same herd, will it count towards this achievement ?
   I'd like to get some advice because today I managed to kill 7 animals from one herd( 95% of the time it was one herd) using a crossbow. 5 of them I hit directly in the heart 2 in the lung and it didn't unlock the achievemant. And I am wondering what could have gone wrong.

I really need some help on my fallow g1 grind, I started grinding for it on te awaroa as soon as the update came out and I’m well over 700-900 kills at the moment and I’ve only got a few diamonds a piebald and a albino but that’s about it. I tried shooting every male I see for about 300 kills, then I tried herd management for the rest of the grind and herd management has been better for diamonds but I haven’t had any success with the big guy. I’m super burnt out and tired of grinding all day just to not get anything and I can’t stand to even see a fallow deer. Do yall got any tips to help me?
