Hello guys! I was wondering is there like a good time or some requirements before starting to hunt for diamonds or trophies. I'm level 22 in game and I have 2-3 maps fully discovered. Should I discover them all and get to level 30 before i think about hunting diamonds. Are all animals "grindable" or do you have to wait for good rng to find it. I imagine herd management comes into play somewhere here. Also, does fast traveling/climbing into a tripod spook animals?

not really a requirement just make sure you have some money and know how to play really. and every animal is grindable. hm is good if your going for a ton of diamonds of the animal but for like 1-2 of them i wouldn’t really recommend it

technically, more magnification helps you be a little more precise at range, but since animals disappear at just under 500 yards, you don't really gain much

i don't use the 8-16 either, for the same reason

Valuez 9 on Layton lakes is so frustrating. Have to kill a coyote with a heart shot from a handgun at night. I’ve killed like 6 and barely missed on the hearts, using the sundberg 454 and the foscoe 357 cuz I want to just get it. Using the more penetrating bullets but idk if I should switch the ones that have more expansion. Don’t really care about the integrity cuz I’m basically going for the easy ones and wanna get the mission done but man hitting hearts has been a struggle. I think on 4 of them I just missed by like a fraction of an inch. Anybody have any advice?

Yes, the best place to go is the wetland in the right center of the map. There are crocodiles that give like about 1000 - 1500 a piece. Also there are kangeroo's that want to fight with you. For the crocodiles I'd recommend the high caliber pack. That are weapons to take down the crocs. Also make sure to bring a shotgun cause they can attack you!

I tried turning off the built in surround sound in my logitech pro x, then turned on the dolby in game.
For now the audio seems a bit more accurate in terms of where it actually comes from.
But this is far inferior to the logitech decoding imo.

Also, now I have to switch the logitech surround options off/on every single time I play a different game.
