Make sure you shot it with right caliber, amount of shots, didn’t hit trophy organs(Skull in this Case), and hit a vital organ (Neck, Brain, Heart, Lungs, and liver)

For every animal it's the same. You can shoot it cleanly, vital organ hit and with proper ammo. But if I'm not mistaken, the actual trophy rating is inherent to that specific animal. You can shoot a bear perfectly and get bronze because it's not that great a bear 😅 .

Bears have a different trophy organ that I sadly don't know cause I almost only play vurhonga lol but whenever you spot an animal look on the upper right side of your screen, it'll show a certain number like 180-203 for example, that's the score the animal will be, then when you harvest an animal you can see the score requirements for said animal to be a bronze, silver, gold or diamond, level 10 animals are fabled which are always great ones

quick little life hack. if you shoot an animal and it starts to float across a river, just forget about it and go to another zone. when you go back it’ll be sitting on the land. i’m sure loads of people know it, but for those who don’t. i’m not sure if it works for animals who run off and die but i’ll have to see when that happens

the respawn timer starts after you harvest the animal or if you main menu/leave the game. i think you need to be on the map for the animals to respawn, i'm not 100% sure on this though

dunno if this is the best place to post this but im having issues with my game/graphics drivers.

I periodically keep having issues where when playing my screens will go blank/disconnect and it seems like it's my graphics crash out, I have to force restart the whole pc as a result. Heyy, I just bought the game and it seems really cool but I am really struggling. I've been playing for a good few hours now and haven't killed a single deer or moose. I don't get how sensitive they are to your presence I can make them bleed and they run, if i track them fast that alerts them but if I crouch and play it nice and slow I seem to never catch upto them and eventually loose them. Really struggling to get anywhere tbh which sucks. I killed 1 really small animal and that's it. Any help would be appreciated thank you ❤️

Best thing you can do it check any lakes for drink zones, drinking animals are pretty easy to kill

Are you using the right ammo for moose? The .243 starter rifle doesn't usually down them. Do get the .270 Stradivarius for free from the shop and try that one.

Thanks ❤️ as for tracking how would you go about it if I don’t kill with the shot? Seems like rushing scares it off and crouching to cause no noise takes too long and it covers ground faster than I can so after following blood for over half an hour to an hour i still dont get it

Take time with your shot and then use the phone to track if u get a warning call go prone then crouch and keep going

What I do as a new player myself with 0 knowledge of meta grinding is the following:
Walk until you hear the warning/mating noise. The animal noises should tell you the approximate distance.
Then crouch, try to spot the animal with the binocs. Aim, shoot your shot.
Then head to where you think the animal fell. There should also be a "Last Spotted" marker on the map. If there's a blood trail then you hit it. If the blood is bright red and if upon inspection it says "Vital organ hit" then congrats, it's 99% a killer shot and you just have to follow the tracks to wherever it fell.
Some "non vital organ hit" shots can also make the animal bleed to death, up to you to follow them.

U can kill 3 animals on a zone but the 4th one will destroy the zone if u have blinds or anything the 16th kill destroys the zone

If the blood says bleed rate high medium or low it will die sometimes low dosent kill and very low only sometimes kills

But very low takes ages to track
