I played Emerald Coast with a guy I met on a multiplayer server, found a herd with 2 level 7 and a Level 9 Kangaroo and as I'm crawling over trying to find a shot, he comes over and they start going alert and starting to stand up from their rest zone, and I crashed, so as I'm walking the 500m back, he decides he's going to shoot, gets closer and spooks them all, and I never got to kill another kangaroo, because every time in the 2-3 hours we spent looking for it, no matter how ready i was for the kill or how far away I was, he'd turn up and either take my kill, shoot at what I'd shot or spook the whole herd

TLDR: Kid scares away my level 9 Kangaroo, then doesn't let me kill anything I find for 3 hours straight

Also, is the strategy to use bows so you can hunt as many animals as you can in a certain need zone (since when you shoot they run)? Do they come back in the same day to that need zone?
What should I strive to purchase? I know that there are binoculars with rangefinder built in, but that ways off, on lvl 30 I think.
Speaking of levels, whats the normal pace to lvl 30? Should I expect 2-3 weeks of game time or? Are missions and exploration better than animals (since I really dont see many, and no, I don't sprint everywhere)

and the startegy is to use hunting blind treestand tripods etc they give the same effect of reduced hnitng preasure but u can use a rifle

and i think they can come back after running off tho only when theres lots of time left in the zone

your puchases should be focused on your hunting style and what u enjoy tho u should be having a gun for every class first so u can ateast kill everything u see

for the rangefinding binos there is a pait at level 14 so the first pair u unlock

and there are really no avarage stats on getting to a certain level but level 30 is fairly easy to reach especially when u play a lot and if u want to level really quick u can join a multiplayer emerald coast lobby and go to the beach on the right there are crocodiles that give lots of cash and ep tho u will need a decent gun to kill them quickly since they are class 8 animals i think

and missions are great for cash but idk bout the xp

i placed my 16 tents at 16 lakes,and just shot every red deer lvl 5-8,keep anything 1-4,stack level 9's if you want to increase more diamonds

shoot 2 red deer out of every herd except if there are only 2 males in that herd or 1

for me with red deer,that happened when i spawned my GO but it could mean you killed a female but i think thats just a myth,you probably killed a solo inside a zone
