herd managing is just a way u handle ur zones so u have some exterior zones and main zones the exterrior zones want to contain tha lowest level u can get on the male and the main zones the bigger ones

I just started my first g1 grind for whitetail on rev, I have all my zones discovered I’m abt 120 kills in and I’ve got like 10-12 zones already managed down to 1s but I’m really confused about main zones? Do I pick my main zones in the beginning and manage everything else and then at the end come back to the main ones? And what if I get my main zones managed to 1s, do I just shoot everything in the main zones? I’m really confused

I usually pick the best zones that are easiest to run straight to a tri pod and shoot without much effort, for main zones. It doesn’t really matter how you manage them. If you got all level ones leave it and go to another. But I do shoot all levels out of my main zones.

Hope that helps, I’ve got 5 maps maged for different things, and got like 16 GOs. Still learning too though.

so main zones are zones that are very grindable (easy to grind) and in those main zones you should always have 2 shooters even if a 1 spawns.

I recommend stacking for wt but it’s not necessary just speeds up the hm

After some testing with all shotguns there doesn’t seem to be any difference with the pellets

I fired all 10 times from 50m and the spreads were almost identical and only 10 hit per shot

Doing it at 100m gave similar results with the spread of 12 being ridiculous and only hitting 3-5 each shot others still hitting 7-9

I sent another 8 shots each, zeroed in for 54m on a 50m set of targets and these are the amount of pellets hitting the target

My zones are like 80% solozones and when I shoot them they just appear in other solo zones, any tips on what I can do about that? I can't even setup 8 and 8 Tents for Main and Side Lakes because only like 3 Drink Zones contain 5+ animals.

Do I just continue shooting the solo zones until they no longer appear in solo zones? Its just super annoying to refind all of them every time

Are you doing the mission "a bit of a long shot"? Cause if so I think you have misread it just a little. You are right render is 400m but the mission calls for a 300m shot which is very possible with an animal in a drink zone.

I think you can manage to get one in a zone spotted at the beginning of drink time and use something with very little drop. The 7mm is only 2 mil down and if you have the new scopes game pass it should be plausible. I wish you luck.
