is there any way to restart a mission i havent completed yet? im stuck at the Taiga map where i have to hunt and collect the wounded reindeer, first it spawned in middle of a few bushes and trees without beeing able to see or spot it.. so i shot shot where the calls came from but i missed and now i hunted it 3 rl hours without even seeing it (just the tracks)

The 270 and 6.5 suck. Only useful on 4s and 5s. The 308, 303 and 30 06 have about the same power, useful up to 6 maybe 7. The 7mm is the most powerful. Still a bit weak on 8s though

303 is best for followup shots, some may argue the 308

If my memory serves me correctly there's a mission on Hershfelden to do exactly that. I did exactly what freakUSSy said to the T! It worked perfectly. Except I didn't use a call at all. I just had to make sure the wind was still the same when I hunted as it was when I setup the stand. That was good advice that I highly 2nd!

Try to figure out where they are coming from and where they go when they leave. If it's a rest zone. They just use a small area around that. Not exactly the same spot like a drink zone. I did mine on a drink zone. And yes you can listen for a mating or warning call. And as long as the wind is in your favor. Call 1 directly to you. Are you on PS4 by chance?

Depends on the size backpack. The little ones give less noise addition and allow you to still walk around without too much added noise. If I remember correctly, the big backpacks make your volume to running speed, even if you're walking.

I've been trying to do the Vualez #10 mission(last mission to complete the map) on Layton lake for about 2 weeks now and i can't find any coyotes in the designated quest area(around Leviathan lake) nor in the vecinity. Nearest need zone i found is 700m away which is near impossible to make work. I hunted other coyotes on the map, i passed the time in game hoping that maybe a zone would appear in the mission area. I checked the area during drink and feed zones and found nothing. Any ideas on how i can complete this mission?

I heard there have been some changes to the spawn zones, could this have bugged/ruined the mission?

Yukon has both moose and wolves, amongst other things

Medved also has moose and wolves

I would like to put out there, if you go looking for the tigers you probably won't see them, but if you go looking for other stuff you will be found by them

I've died like 2-3 times to tigers, have since just made the sundberg .454 my "I'm in danger areas" protection. Walk with it out, keep my hound out for the warning bark

Apperantly you can chase animals away to a new zone. Would the old drink zone logo disappear from the map? And does this mean when i scare away a animal not intended that this animal could have moved to a new zone pls?

Due to hunting pressure you may delete zones, and the zone icon will disappear. Eventually the herd that was at that zone should come back, but they won’t always and are sometimes replaced with a different herd. This means you’ll have to find the new zone that old herd uses.

Best map to grind fallow and red deer

You'll find a lot of animals near the rivers and lakes during their respective drink times. The Chamois are found closer to the mountains. You won't need any higher caliber than Class 6 and no predators are on this map so no fear of being attacked either. and like @royal bone said, it's the best map to grind Fallow and Red Deer on, though they only have two lakes with shared drinking spots, along with a bit of the river on the southeast end.

Scent eliminator reduces the animal's detection radius by a certain amount. Basically, it allows you to sneak much closer to the animal than if you weren't using it.

However, the way the animal is facing will still influence their detection rate. If they're facing you, they'll alert quicker compared to if they're facing away. And the scent elim doesn't do anything about the noise you produce, so if you're sprinting around or walking through bushes and tall grass, the animals will hear you and run away.

Usually you can run up to about 150 meters of the animal before you need to start crouching/ walking. If an animal becomes Attentive, it's your first que to start crouching, Alert is your second warning as they'll start calling out whilst looking in your direction. Usually this is accompanied by them slowly walking away, turning and walking back. If you manage to hide, they'll revert back to being attentive otherwise they might spook and flee.

You will get banned from this server if you use cheats and post modded trophies/screenshots however you will not be banned from the game itself. Highly unrecommended to use cheats/mods to regain progress

As for the save data, if you didn’t make a manual backup you have no way of recovering progress

Im on a fallow grind, but there is close to none 200+ trophy rating Im on 366 kills and 0 rare 0 diamonds, only small and medium 4’s

What I do is travel around all my drink zones, shot the 3 and 4’s I have 28 drink zones discovered and the last few is solo’s so they keep respawning ofc

• If you happen to be modding, it can often break the game as the coding is old and mods don't play nicely with the guts of the game.
• If you happened to play MP and someone else glitched your game by modding, it could break the AI coding.
• Sometimes animals just bug out
• IF you have mods installed, uninstall them and reinstall your game from scratch, and verify the game files. That might fix it

you dont, just shoot down as many zones as you can and hope one either spawns in the process, or after you shoot down you can grind on whats left
