it's a clear mechanical change. it affects the behavior of animals in the game and increases your chances of finding a trophy. I would also like to look further away for immersion's sake (also not QoL), but it's render distance is integrated with other game mechanics

I don't know anything specifically about this, but generically speaking this problem is probably to do with some sound driver on a certain brand of motherboard, or a similar sort of incompatibility. The bug could either be in COTW or the hardware/software/firmware of the device. Things like this are very hard to track down in my experience.

question: i was on a roll with tigers at the 3 lakes LL did a vid on. And then suddenly they stopped and i have no idea why. I see a drink zone at one of the lakes but the tiger has been a no show for multiple days. I do check the other lakes but clearly this is the one that it is supposed to appear on. What gives?

if you see a drink zone so you're sure it should be there just keep checking. Try the one minute trick, and sleeping to the next day. I've had similar where it took a couple days before the tiger would show up for whatever reason even though I could see the drink zone like you say.

Can someone explain the 3 lake tiger grind to me? Because I've set up at those lakes, I had one female at one of the lakes and a male at another and no tiger at the last lake. I've shot the female and male 2 times and their zones are now gone and they're not coming back? And there is no tigers at any of the lakes now? this was diamond #36. I was not on the three lakes when I got it. I moved the grind to the three lakes and shot another ~250 diamonds or so and didn't get another one although I had 7 rares during that stretch

Ohhhh I thought they were super easy to get at the moment because of some bug but that seems like a lot more time and effort than I thought

they are relatively easy to get compared to other super rares, but it's still lining up two low drop rate events. statistically speaking it's not unusual for that to take a while. It was rather unlucky for none of those rares to land on a diamond when my diamond rate was about 1/3 though.

Since this update with the new map has anyone else having the issue where animals are just not coming to their drink zones? I’m going to grind for WT on Layton and I have 61 zones (haven’t started grinding mind you) I’ve checked all the spots multiple times (plus the secret lake) and I’m pretty sure I have a few more drink zones to find but the deer aren’t showing up (even at the zones I’ve already found) and I’m at like 10-12 looking so I know I’m not too early

Yeah I noticed that too but it's diffrent for the elk, when I shoot a bison in lets say 1 lung he runs a couple hundred meters at most but when I shoot an elk in 1 lung he runs 1-2km and then eventually stops bleeding.

@everyone ,I got The hunter Cotw on epic games for free and I really like the game but for some reason I keep keep on stuttering and getting frame drops even on the lowest graphics, I could get up to 90 fps on Ultra and then it drops to 20 fps,I could be on low and get 190 fps amd it would still drop to 20 or 30 fps

Is it a problem with epic games or a problem with my computer
