Yes, that's the normal mountain lion experience. It's deeply unpleasant; you aren't the only one to feel this way. I try to only hunt that map when they are resting or drinking, but as mentioned there is going to be a tweak to their behavior when the new map is released.

Yes. The reason is that animals only begin traveling to their new activity when the zone time changes. When 00:00 hits the coyotes stop feeding and start moving towards the water, but it takes some time for this to happen. I tend to only check in the last half of drink time, although there will always be a few random animals that show up early.

ive been trying to get more and more low lvl fallow deer on my map and that works...kinda. if i understand correctly the endgoal is to have low lvls wherever u can so that the respawns are high lvl. what i dont really understand yet though is -> how does the respawning work exactly. WHERE do the deer i shoot respawn and how do i make them respawn in zones where i want them to.
also -> scince im playing on hirschfelden my only drinking zones that are easy to shoot are at lakes and there isnt many. would these be my main zones in the end ? cuz from exploring the map that seems to be the only places where you can reliably instantly get a shot. if i use any of the river tents i gotta walk a lot to get to my zones

the videos ive watched are extremely vague about the : how to make deer respawn in main zones. all they say is that you should shoot both at the same time but isnt a respawn already decided the moment i shoot the deer ?

Can this be done without a Moose caller, i've been having trouble with this one 3 days now. Ive been there for literally 1 day, and none of the Moose got near me to get 100% kill, there is drinking spot but behind foliage and that shot is hard to make for me, you literally just see a bit of moose

if u dont want to wait for that try getting there early enough to maybe catch the moose walking down to the river

Animals have incredible senses. Even the lowest visibility can still be seen. Scent spray doesn't eliminate all smell. You can still very much be detected

Bear probably has great senses. I know a lot of animal AI differs on their smell, hearing, sight, etc.

Question about respawns when grinding: doing my whitetail GO grind on Layton. One of the content creators said that number of drink zones for them on Layton is between 45-55. I started my grind with 45 and wasn’t getting respawns at the zones that I shot. I then found 3 more drink zones. I’m not sure if there are any more I need to find. Is it possible that my respawns moved to the zones that I hadn’t previously found or are respawns suppose to return to the zones where I previously shot once as proof that all of the zones have been found?

I have 69 whitetail drink zones on Layton and I'm confident I found them all. Your exact number maybe be different, but it's most likely 60+. Getting from high 50s to the end nearly made me go bald; at least half the missing zones were in places I had already checked twice. There will be zones where more than one group drinks as well, watch out for those.

Find their sign before hunting them. Set time to 03:00 and run around as many water sources as you can finding coyote drink zones. Don't worry about spooking the animals and don't worry when drink time ends, you can keep finding their trails for hours afterwards.

Once you know where coyotes drink sleep until 02:06 and approach their zone with great stealth.

for a diamond stubble quail I would do it safe and slow and start (fast) crawling from 70m until you get into shotgun range. I suggest the Cacciatore 12ga. Good luck, it's one of the rarest diamonds.

No, it will appear a different level than what it is and divert you from likely shooting it. A 10 fabled for somone else than the person seeing it will be a weird level generally lv4 or higher though.

So i restarted my laptop completely and didnt backup my files because i didnt have problems with losing my files before. I finished with the restart, booted up my game and it reverted me back to lvl 51 and i lost more than 50 trophies including 3 great ones! I tried everything but i couldnt get my stuff back. It might have been cuz i didnt turn on cloud sync when i had issues with my game freezing before. No, don't use it on class 4. Technically it works but lung shots only. I use it on class 2/3 predators. 100 accuracy is nice when shooting small targets.

You're well kitted out. I suggest more maps. Revontuli Coast, Emerald Coast, and Silver Ridge Peaks are most popular for a reason. Modern Weapons could fill a gap for you if you like the semi automatic rifles. Unfortunately I don't recommend the Bloodhound unless you have a specific playstyle that needs it; it's kinda buggy and doesn't do anything the player can't also do. Labrador is worth it if you hunt a lot of class 1 though.

OOPS! I got it backwards my bad. Now that I've been corrected it still seems like you don't need anymore weapons unless you want that .300 semi. I suggest Cuatro for sure among the maps, and Parque, Rancho, or Vurhonga if you like their species lists. I love High Tech but some people think it's useless; it depends on whether you like archery and whether you find the night vision useful or not.

The rest is all kinda niche. Weapon Pack 2 has the Grelck Drilling Rifle which is a fun novelty but not the best at anything it does. Assorted sidearms has the literally handy .243 Cuomo to help your loadout. You get functional substitutes of most of the goose stuff in other packs so I'd say to skip that unless you specifically want the field layout blind. The other maps I think you'd know if you wanted them based on their geography or species list.

You want to kill 4,5’s and leave the others unless it’s your main shooting lakes. You only want your big bucks to shoot on your main lakes. The other lakes you want 1,2 and low 3’s to spawn at those lakes so you can eventually leave the lake and use your tents more efficiently at your main shooting lakes

the only reserve that has anything close to a 1:1 equivalent is NEM. Everything else is just based on a general/generic region, Layton's being a mix of Washington and BC

Wt grind question on LL: I found 65 zones (heard that WT should have 60+ zones on LL) so I shot a zone and reset the time to test if I’ve found all my zones. I shot 2 bucks at a 9 herd drink zone. Then reset the time to see that the drink zone only is 7 and no respawns ( which makes me think I’m missing a dz) after I find all my drink zones should bucks return to that zone to have it be a 9 white tail dz or will they form another herd?

Moose change or creat new need zone when u kill them, so you need to look all Ur map again to find him. They usually respwan in the same area but that a big area. I also feel like some just disappear.

And if you kill a female on a herd it may destroy they herd. In my farm my female was disappeared and so did the male now I can shoot it all I want it never go back to the herd need zone

Im referring to white tail grind so do they create new herds too if you haven’t found all the zones?

My bad sorry has I know they only change herd you will just need to look at the need zone you did find. But I also have some that I did never find back they just vanished and when I was at like my 6# Go I stated to have new male
