@thin arch buy smoking barrels which that will give you the 30-06 which is the ideal medium game rifle and for smaller class use the 243 and than a shotgun for class nine you can take the 338 if you can fit that if you can’t buy a back pack

.223 is nice for foxes/coyotes/assorted varmints. I like the 100 accuracy on a small target, although the lack of penetration can be an issue. The Zagan .22-250 is a nice upgrade if you have Emerald Coast.

.308 polymer actually outperforms 7mm polymer last time I looked (numbers wise). .308 has 4mm more penetration and 1mm more expansion. Although I guess that could function slightly different in practice, so your experience might be more correct than my ability to read stats lol

Minimum do the first handful of missions on Layton or Hirsch, read the codex on everything, basically kill whatever you see, if you only have base game work to get the Hyperion scope and 7mm, the 243 (starter gun) is a amazing gun on small animals and never loses it's worth, and learn the anatomy of the animals and try to always make good vital shots

Learn your gun. Find the shooting range on Hirsch and figure out how your aim is. Learn how animals vitals are laid out and FIGURE OUT STEALTH. Stealth is tricky at first and everything seems to spook if you don’t get it down right.

After you kill an animal another one will spawn to take its place and use the same zones like drinking and resting. Hunting pressure (the purple/pink stuff on your map after you kill an animal) can delete the zone so the animals don't come back to it.

Can't tell for sure in the picture but it looks like either a gold fur type or beige. Both considered rare.

u can travel the river up to the other end of the map and ull constantly have stuff to shoot at

Tricky thing - you need to know when looking for animals. Every animal has a specific time spend drinking. Best bet - ask here for drink time and hotspot map for specific animal.

Hi everyone, I just bought 4 dlc maps on my ps4. Africa, taiga, Yukon and Iberia. I want to play/download the maps but it sends me to the PlayStation store but in the PlayStation store it says “bought” and not install. When I go to notifications on my PlayStation the add-ons say “waiting to install…” and when I click on them it sends me to the game add-on and when I click the game add-on it sends me to the store where it says “bought” again and not installed. I deleted the game and the add-ons, reinstalled the game and tried to (pre)install the add-ons but it didn’t work. Before I reinstalled the game and tried to (pre)install the maps I restored licenses, it is my primary PlayStation so I’m at a loss. So I’m in a loop and can’t play the maps. Please help, I want to play the other maps!
