About a month ago drinking time for black bears was changed with a patch.
For all existing before patch animals drinking zone remain old (at night).
If you start a new game or kill old animal it will respawn and will have new morning drinking time.

So answer is - one drinking time.

generally speaking penetrative ammo is always better in this game for classes 2-9

on class 1 I think it only helps on Turkey, Capercaillie, and the various Geese, but I see enough of those that I use it always instead of switching to save money

I don't know of any community resources on this and I've looked a bit. Mountain Lions have a similar level structure and I think they max out at level 5 for females. I'm pretty sure Lions work the same.

The pressure from a kill relates to first hit regardless of where the animals runs to or gets harvested, I'd say that it should count but I'm only guessing really. Maybe Kwaks, Lego or Tyk will know more

There are probably more zones to find. It could also be that the animals don't always show up at the time you are checking the zones. They tend towards the last two hours of the drink period but that's not set in stone. Your tent placement sounds good.

There are so many possibilities, but diamonds are out there. Try being stealthier and spotting more

Focus on finding max level and max weight category animals. If you look for golds you'll find golds. The diamonds are often at the back of the group or a bit sneakier, so you might be spooking them or missing them.

Should show up somewhere nearby. I don't know if grizzlies work differently because they have pairs sometimes, but it's normal to delete the zone after shooting a black bear. There should be a new level 7-9 out there for you to find most likely.

I never got it to really work as a boarderless window. I have to hit atl+tab to get to my other screens. This minimizes the game, not ideal.

Also if you play windowed and use the mouse to aim or whatever sooner or later your gonna bring up the bottom bar of windows itself and now the game wont respond to input.

I use a program called Windows Borderless gaming, for our game and a few others, that let's you play in borderless windows so you can tab out etc but it shows as full-screen. It's a bit hard to find nowadays although I did see something similar on steam. Not sure how good that one is though. Honestly I'd be lost without it while streaming

Any help on the Parque Fernando map? I'm at the Gold Mine Misson and I've set up the dynamite all that. I go back to where the rocks are and shoot at it. It won't go off. Archery is hard at first, and harder without archery perks. Parque has an archery range you can practice at, or you can use the 50m board at Hirschfelden. Your effective zero changes with levels of Pumping Iron, so it's best to get a feel for it at the range so you know what to expect. In some ways it's just like shooting a rifle, you hold the sight over your target, adjust up or down for the distance, and click shoot.

Use a bow with a sight until you gain experience, don't bother with the traditionals until later

To any new hunters trying to complete Emily heart elk quest on Layton lakes I just did it for the first time and it was very difficult. I recommend setting time to drink time. Walk along the water near a hunting stand preferably the one in the south west corner and use a caller to lure the male all the way to the stand just be careful you don’t spook it while crawling back to the stand

And I tried to hit the geese or sometime ducks out of the air, although the birdshots range is 25m, I tried it, because I've seen people on YouTube hitting the geese without any Problems. Are you newer to the game? Animals do their activities like drinking, resting, and eating, at set times. If you want to catch a wolf drinking you have to visit an area they drink at during their drink time (0:00-3:00). Usually for the first 60-90m of that the wolves are traveling, that's why I suggested a slightly later time.

Revontuli Coast is the number one bird map, nothing else comes close. Waterfowl are usually hunted with decoys, blinds, and a shotgun. Sometimes I use the .22 on geese though. Upland game you find by creeping in the woods or fields, and you can also use the .22 on most of them although a few have to be shot in the air.

To set up for waterfowl place 20 decoys for each species you want to hunt, and then set up a blind about 50m away. I also like to put the ecaller by the decoys if you have it. You might need to adjust the placement of your equipment to get the birds landing in the right spot and not flying into you and spooking.

The DLC is about customising your experience in this game. The only one that feels mandatory to me is Tents. You can save a lot of time accessing different areas of the map and do all kinds of tricks with them. Besides that I think it's good to get a mix of maps and weapon packs/other DLC. My favorite packs are Ambusher (e-caller, Moradi lever rifle, takedown bow) and High Tech (night vision plus compound bow) because they match the way I play. If you're not sure then a more generic pack like Hunter Power or Modern Weapon is always handy.

For maps again it comes down to what kind of terrain and animals do you want to hunt. Big game is the most popular thing so you have a lot of choices. Silver Ridge Peaks and Emerald Coast get the most recommendations and I like them too. My sleeper pick is Cuatro Colinas. Every map has its charm, that's why I own them all. No choosing, only hunting.

Shots can be taken well over the "effective" range too but without perks/skills with level increases, you'll need to account for bullet drop

I don’t get this game, I had a zone with 2 white tail bucks and 2 white tail does. Everyone says shoot both bucks and they will respawn as bucks but I just shot both and one came back a doe and there is only one zone there? Someone help me understand.

Probably crocs near your are scaring them away, or someone is visible and scaring them, but if it’s in emerald coast, it’s more than likely crocs

What system are you playing on? If PC are you on steam? The game is supposed to have auto save, and cloud sync should also be on by default.

it's probably something to do with your save. Either your cloud settings might be wrong, or your documents folder could be located on your Onedrive or something like that
