Well, any hunting structure that reduces hunting pressure is pretty good. But that is expensive so I can understand not having them at all zones. No clue if the zones are close enough to be affected by eachothers hunting pressure but if they are try shooting less at the lake and shoot more at other lakes.

theyre all about 200M from eachother besides 2. i have to get them to flee to make sure it doesnt overlap incase theyre closer to the other zone otherwise i think its fine. would portable structures like tripod stands work?

its on cuatro i believe its called and i do frequent the river in the middle often

Yes tripods would definitely be ideal, obviously you can’t ONLY hunt those 4 zones but if you have a good run strategy (at the end of the run the hunting pressure from the beginning of the run would be gone/not enough to affect it next run) you’ll be able to shoot 2 per run without any worry of destroying zones

May be close enough to the scent cone that would be the cause of the spook, at least that would be my first guess. Also, the single Bar doesn't make you completely undetectable, it goes away completely if you're in a tree or bush that gives you full visual camoflague 🙂

Actually on screenshot is not zero in visibility. To get zero you need perk in Stalker tree - hiding in bushes.

Long white line in visibility is something about 25-50 metres visual detection. Especially Red Foxes have extremely good visual detection compared to other animals.

Usually the lobby disconnect is purely an issue between your and friends PCs

you all may have great internet - but if the connection isn't secure, if theres desync, it'll just disconnect you

I've been wondering how to get a diamond animal for awhile now. What are the requirements for the diamond? Is it based purely on size or is it a combination of the gun used, ammo, etc?

Diamond rating is entirely dependent on trophy rating (which itself is correlated with size). However, the harvest checks (basically how good of a shot you take) determine whether or not you’ll actually get a diamond medal

Can be, if you shoot any animal with improper ammo/ more than two shots/ no vitals, it drops the medal of the animal by one. Diamond would be a gold, gold a silver and so on. Trophy is still the same of course, so still worth saving in that regard, just won't show with the diamond rating

Very powerful tool, but it depends a bit on how you play. If you typically want to bring animals to you, rather than shoot at maximum range, then it can be very useful. Especially being you can set it up a distance away from you to bring the animal to

Basically anywhere. It will become a fully operational Base.
Moreover you can dismantle it and place again elsewhere.
You can plac up to 16 tents on a map.

My recommendation is to place it somewhere uphill. So your vision won't be obscured after fast travel to your tent.

If you touch the black bear drink zones you will see they are all group size 1. When you kill a bear you delete its zones because you killed all the animals in that group. They will often respawn in the same location or nearby, but not always. This means if you only hunt a few areas the bears will tend to disappear even without hunting pressure as they spawn onto other areas of the map.

I answered you but maybe it got lost this is a busy channel. If you touch the black bear drink zones you will see they are all group size 1. When you kill a bear you delete its zones because you killed all the animals in that group. They will often respawn in the same location or nearby, but not always. This means if you only hunt a few areas the bears will tend to disappear even without hunting pressure as they spawn onto other areas of the map.

I have had bears (and other animals) not show up to their drink time, but zones leaving the map while there are animals in them I'm not sure. Is it possible you emptied the zones and they are disappearing when you log out and log back in? If not that maybe the support ticket will help

you should keep all your progress. reinstalling shouldn't delete the saves those are managed separately and should also be synced to the cloud. (I play PC and that's how it works there.)

That goes by hunting pressure and whether or not your in a hunting structure that reduces hunting pressure. You can hunt 2 animals in 1 zone without removing a zone (it might be 3/4 can’t remember) however, it is more with hunting structures. Hunting pressure is represented by the purple splodges on your map after killing a animal, the brighter the purple, the closer the zone is to being removed. There’s plenty of hunting pressure guides online and I recommend watching one

You might of shot the zones out, like I said shooting 3 at one zone without hunting structure. OR if it is a solo zone (one animal in the zone) and you shoot it, the zone will be removed as there are no animals in the zone. You can re find the animal zone somewhere else.

If you’re going for a red deer great one, I recommend watching a video/videos. Because there’s a lot you can do and all that. Id find all your zones, choose 8 zones to hunt, if your doing hm stack your dimes in it and make your other zones drop down. If you’re not doing hm just shoot on those 8 zones.

Maps really vary a lot when it comes to which zones are good and where zones are to the point unless it’s bear I wouldn’t copy someone’s tent placement.

Search your maps. Like find all the zones. Then if nothing and you don’t feel like doing a grind for one just mp hop

Blacktail have well defined and limited drink zones, so like pleqse says comb the east side of Layton. If you find all the drink zones and your map has a diamond you'll see it. It helps to set up at least a few tents: one or two in Calburn will save the most time. Nightvision dlc is handy because the diamond probably won't be out for very long before 1900.

If you don't find a diamond by scouting the layout of their drink zones makes it relatively easy to shoot bucks until you get the diamond spawn (compared to the whitetail on the same map for example). My diamond spawned somewhere between 50-100 blacktail kills.

I have a question. I saw like a tutorial on YouTube on best rifles in the game and I dont have a single rifle on that list that I can buy for money in game. I also checked the dlcs and the guns from the video weren’t there so then I did some research and found out you can earn guns from missions or smth like that but there were still guns that weren’t available.

I’m wondering how the gun system in the game works like are their limited edition guns you could only get if you bought a dlc at a certain time

And why can I only purchase like 3 more rifle variations in my like home in the game

which guns are you missing or looking for exactly? I think a list of top guns would be all dlc weapons. Modern Rifle pack has the semis including the .308 Zarza. Yukon Valley reserve has the .300 Canning. These are the two most useful guns imo. There are no limited or exclusive release weapons that I know of.

I am currently trying to set up a Red Deer GO grind on te-awaroa and am a little confused with tent placements.

I know to keep tents 250m away from drink zones as that can stop them spawning if too close.

Can a tent be really close to one drink zone if im not currently shooting it?

One the most useful tactics because you can hunt and shoot close to zones and and not spook animals the FT to one over 200m away and then kill more

So stacking should mean that smaller animals will spawn on your map. And the larger number of max level animals should increase the amount of smaller ones(that you don't shoot)
