Myb try to explain it a little better, not that you explained it badly I’m just a little dumber.

Is this at the beginning of a grind?

If so, best idea I have if it’s at the beginning of a grind would be to stack diamonds in zones you want to be main zones and shoot diamonds/high males in zones you want to be exterior. If you want the bad zone to be a good zone mid grind you could try just shooting them and hoping that another zone drops down for you (assuming you have 8 main zones). Keep in mind for it to be a good zone you need 2 shootable males and I think 2-3 females.

I shot this caribou; Here are its tracks.
It seems like it went back on itself, because I found it bleeding backwards direction as well;
Then at the orange marker no more trails. (I checked for 30m now.)

Good idea, I might go back now and check with the hound. I've literally never seen something like this before

Also, the game didn't reset my consecutive harvest bonus when I didn't collect it, so it's almost like it never existed.
(When I didn't collect an animal before, the game reset the harvest bonus back to 0% and it stayed like that even after multiple animals were collected, which is why I'm saying this)

If you shot a doe, there’s no fix other than leaving before it dies and not picking it up. If your zones are already effected by it, sad to say from my knowledge damage is done

at its core, from what I understand, the GO spawn is RNG and killing a male has a chance to proc a GO spawn.

Some people have their methods and swear by them, which would be Herd Management. If you want to learn about those, though - feel free to hit up youtube and look up ronmctube, melsgaming and scarecrow. I'm fairly certain the three of them have all put videos out talking about how they do their herd management

• Red Deer

Therefore, the only time you can find them is when they are on a map that has those species

Unless you have a back-up of the saves manually, or if somehow you have your cloud save backed-up, I don't think so. But don't get discouraged, you still have all your trophies and trophy lodges, you just reset your experience and skills, also maps and missions.

You have a flashlight by default, you can still see map waypoints and if you want more help you can purchase the nightvision pack for 3-5 dollars, gives you NV binoculars and also NV weapons scopes.

You're better off turning off the flashlight when hunting, use it for walking and navigation to avoid dense bushes that might generate big noises. Use the NV tech for hunting, especially if you're farming drinking zones.

zeroing doesn't mean eliminate all bullet drop and magically makes them goes straight center at any range
it makes the center of the sight become dead center at 75m/150m/300m so you dont' have to adjust your sight like crazy just to shoot far away target and it'll let you shoot dead center using zeroing

Some weapon that has massive bullet become very obvious if you didn't set your Zeroing correctly
most guns with 150m effective range prob just makes you miss couple mm if u offset your zeroing
some guns that has massive drops and not using proper zeroing gonna makes you need to shoot like this

Grinding for Rares are rough because well they are rare it can very very easily take a few thousand kills to get a collection

I just had the weirdest Bug ever. I wanted to place a trophy. So I picked a trophy up ( a leucistic turkey ) and placed my new trophy ( a dime gredos ibex ). Than I wanted to place the turkey somewhere else, but instead of the turkey I now have a multimount of whitetail piebalds.
I already had that multimount placed. Now I have it 2 times and the turkey is gone.

That’s just multiplayer in general it seems. It’s also very possible the owners are just immediately kicking you, if not it’s just mp being mp.

It’s not like it’s a guarantee that your going to have a good elk but if you have no initial spawns you can either
A) Multiplayer hop
B) Try killing the elk on your map and pray for respawns

You can either pay for any of the weapon DLCS which are found in the store depending on which platform your on, eg if you play through steam then the DLCS will be found on the steam store. Some of the missions give you weapons, so you are able to do the missions and depending on what missions you are doing you may get a few different weapons. And then just by playing the game you'll level up. The higher level you are the more you continue to unlock things. So if you are a higher level you'll have more things unlokced and be able to buy more weapons unsing in-game cash.

On multiplayer, my understanding is that newly discovered need zones do not transfer over to your singleplayer map. My question is: if you're the one creating/hosting the multiplayer map, do those need zones get transferred to singleplayer, or still no?

Have 20 decoys out, caller, a blind and have my Lab laying down.

If you go to the main menu and then go get back in your blind then your animals will respawn

The thing with geese tho is that you have to kill the entire flock for them to respawn

so once you kill the flock, then go and main menu, and your geese will be back 🙂

As Kawhi said, going to main menu might help respawns occur, but with birds you do need to kill the whole flock afaik to get a new flock.

alternatively, if you are trying to get literally any other animal to come in to that area, there is too much hunting pressure for like the red deer or any other animals to come in.

The way to fix that is to kill things in other places on the map, to draw the HP to different areas. It's all about keeping balance

I have noticed Mallards on layton being a bit shy. Only when im in multiplayer with some friends. On single player they come in droves... on multiplayer they seem to disappear after a few minutes. I found the problem several times this last few weeks. Go back on single palyer... all is fine again. (im on pc)

Gotta start up the game and load into a map then turn it off.
Go to the save all the way to the numbers folder you open it up.
Open file manager on a different window have them both next to each other.
You delete everything out of the main saves number folder then you right click drag select everything in the backup copy everything inside of it and paste it into the primary
