Saber 4x4 for sure, you would need that to move around the map quickly, but mostly for missions
Then the Tents and Groundblinds dlc that acts like a portable fast travel
For other guns those are just fun additions and based on personal preference
For maps I recommend Silver Ridge Peaks and Vurhonga Savanna, both are wide open maps with lots of animals

Well the most zoom you get out of the Argus, however most players use the Hyperion because of the greater FOV... but it is something you probably need to figure out yourself as it is mostly personal preference

Whats better for like, just simply shooting and regular grinds. The malmer 7mm or the tsurugi .338

The tsurugi's ammo capacity is higher and has higher total penetration meaning more dmg, however the malmer is less expensive and the range is from 4-9 unlike the tsurugi (7-9)

So which should i use

the 7mm has a much broader range of classes it can hit so if you find a trophy animal you do not need to switch but just killing them you can of course go for the tsurugi if you do not care about the trophy medal you'll get

I currently do not know how the tsurugi compares to the .300 from the yukon dlc (this is the gun I usually use as I am much more familiar with it).. but yeah that is personal preference

Also the 300 is good in a lot of ways compared to the 338. The 300 has way better accuracy and less recoil compared to the 338. The only difference is that the 338 has 1 more bullet and it only has a +3 difference of penetration.

alright... yeah as I said it is mostly personal preference and whether you just want to shoot everything to reset your populations or trying to trophy hunt (therefore needing the correct weapon).... I would create loadouts for each individual map that cover all classes such that you are on the safe side though 🙂

@regal niche it depends, if you have problems tracking i highly recommend the bloodhound as he makes it a lot easier especially if the animal ran a wierd pattern. The duck dlc makes hunting ducks, as the name says, a lot more fun. It's a decent way to get money, it's fun and definetly worth the shot. To be honest, there's only personal preferences with these

Sounds like it's just saying that as you appear to have your maps with all prior pressure on your PS4 and also your lodges with prior harvested trophies mounted up

In on PS4 haven't swapped and once in awhile mine will say that

After release of Revontuli Coast I immediately started doing the quests. Then suddenly one of the quests checkpoint just didnt work. It did not register that i was in the area of the checkpoint. After that I had a longer break on videogames because of reasons. When I came back the mission was gone and I cant start that possibly bugged quest. I think I could reset by starting a new game but I really dont wish to do that : D

dont lead more than an inch on your screen, and something that helped me originally was switch your reticle to the circle and i use the small one, not sure how large the medium one is but you could try them all out, but usually before you take your shot, take a mental image of that circle and dont aim further than the edge of the circle, and your wasting your time shooting any bird over 45 yards, thats atleast my general consensus for ducks, i also just started so take it for what you will.

You usually want 55-65. If u have checked your whole map multiple times, try starting your grind and see if u get consistent responds. If you don't then it means you have to find more zones.

they will come back to their normal route/area once unspooked

i usually love to just going around with ATV to collect all lookout and outpost before doing proper hunting.
Usually it gives me good idea where type of animal generally located too

How rare are diamond whitetail spawns? Ive got diamond grizzlys, diamond plains bison and rm elk but i havent seen a 3 whitetail or 5 blacktail

There's no guns in game you have to 'buy first', it's just personal preference and the right guns for the right class of animals

Since Idk what dlcs you own I'm going to give some suggestions from the free weapons:

1. 7mm Regent Magnum
   Pretty expensive gun ($36000) but it will cover all of your game from classes 4-9, it's very powerful but you only get one shot, however it's still arguably the best gun for f2p, save your cash for this if you want

2. .270 Huntsman

Cheaper high power alternative for mid game, covers classes 4-8, I've never used this but it's the direct step-up from the .243 to hunt larger game such as moose etc

3. Sundberg 454

A completely free handgun that's a self defense weapon for classes 4-9, it's 5 rounds and probably only used for self defense until you're able to buy the scope for it, but it's free so why not

(so far those are the only guns i could think of that aren't dlc and beginner friendly, if you want more powerful weapons you could try any if the compound bows, those aren't so much beginner friendly but you can quickly take out herds if used correctly and farm cash)

243 + 7mm + Cacciatore(bird shot) and you'll get class 1-9 coverage for any map

Those are pretty pricey
You can grab the free Sunberg 454 to hunt like Moose, but using handgun would be extra challenging to reach effective range to shoot big game, especially you don't have the high penetration bullet/scope for it yet. It can kill for sure.

If you really want to start hunting Moose ASAP and can't handle the wait for expensive 7mm/Cacciatore, you can grab .270
