but then there came repurcussions

If you willingly open your map and have been working on a GO and one spawns - its up to Fate

Not really, because before you'd need another person to hold the map after you leave. With your way, you could just wait until you spawned a trophy, load up a private multi, shoot and repeat

I thought you were saying the multiplayer would be a duplicate of your own map, but it wouldn't affect single player

Hi guys, I got a question: Can the 6.5 mm rifle with the polymer tip bullets penetrate a Roosevelt Elk from the front to reach the heart? From about 100 meters/yards out, I tried shots but I didn't get a quick kill.

Doable, but it's a pretty tough shot to line up correctly. Won't be an instant drop, but will be pretty damn fast if you nail the heart

Or maybe when he's slowly walking towards you the shot placement tends to be higher up than aimed for? I also shot from a slightly elevated position (a small mound).

Without looking at it right in front of me, iirc the heart is a bit lower than you would expect if compared to a moose. And especially if your point of aim is near the top part of the heart, it's a really skinny window horizontally to not miss it. Bad part of it is, typically a miss there with an elk won't get to the lungs

1. the distance in yards is converted from the distance in meters. the game is written in metric units
2. depends on the weapon and how much of a difference there is between the zeroing distance and the actual distance. for instance, on most rifles, a difference of like 25-30 meters between zeroing distance and actual distance will make little difference
