If you follow too close or too loudly the animal will notice and run away

Coyotes have great eyesight and smell so if they sense you they are running

Make sure the wind is not blowing directly at them or they will smell you before you see them

My advise is: Do not follow animal tracks. It's frustrating and you will very very likely never have success. Best outcome can be to find a need zone. But that only occurs when the needzone is inside a <1000m radius of your current spot, the render range.
If an animal leaves your range - <500m from you - there will be no more tracks. And animals move faster than you.

you will find older need zones which are painted while you sleep, but those are used to be visited next time when the zone is active

The rangefinder binoculars don’t zero your gun to any distance but you’re able to view your distance to a target. It’s less useful now that you have the range estimate in the top right when spotting an animal

Thanks lol. He was a little bit of a surprise. I was stalking a massive group of rock ptarms and accidentally spooked him. I couldn't tell he was pale, he just looked like any other grouse to me. Took him out with my shotgun and scared away my ptarms in the process but I ended up with a rare so that's pretty cool

Typically in most of Alaska they are called brown bears and then in the lower 48 United States they are called grizzly bears

I mean Yukon has a lot of different things you have bison red fox gray wolf grizzly bear Harlequin duck moose caribou probably one of the better Canadian goose maps you have gorgeous scenery a great Mission line one of the best weather Dynamics in the game you also have access to the 300 Magnum it's a really nice map to have

With Medved getting Wolf it's not as unique as it used to be
