spook distance depends if it relates to sight, sound, smell, and what the level of the animal is. Then there is the spook distance of gunshots.

I did every main mission in the game and used WeMod to do a quest since I spent 2 days heart shotting silver Red Deer with the .270 when I needed a gold. I just froze the animals, spawned the nearest ones, found a gold one and got my quest. I uninstalled the mod, did a full fresh install on the game, and put in my back up save. Rn I'm trying to make sure everything is back to normal as the last few days since have felt like my game is a little off. I don't want to go to multiplayer and inadvertently ruin someones map. Should it be good?

Okay thanks a lot! I've only caught 3 no quest diamonds so far in my 300 hours as I've focused on the quests and restarted my game 4 times already lol. I noticed your a moderator so sorry for mentioning anything about mods, it got me a warning, I'm not sure if thats something to worry about in here. I literally quit Tarkov (2400 hours in) for this game and bought all the dlc so I don't wanna get banned. I just didn't know what to do as I just spent about 250 hours discovering all the maps and doing every main mission in the game, I only modded for literally 5 minutes for the Hirchfelden quest Returning the Flavor as I was on it for 2 or 3 days straight and wasted a lot of my time deleting my zones from shooting silver's. I'm strictly against hacks/mods for any game unless the mods are supported (Skyrim for example). I just wanted to save some time so I could say the main stuff was done and unlocked before I went for grinds. I'll be sure not to never mod again after this. I just lost about 250 hours worth of gameplay as I've tried everything already to get my save back to normal haha. Thanks again though!

Modern weapons pack covers the most amount of classes, I’d definitely recommend it.
Tents + tripods and treestands. These will be extremely useful. Allowing you to fast travel anywhere you place a tent, change the time there and change your loadout. Tripods and treestands, like any other hunting structure, reduce your visibility and also reduce the hunting pressure you leave behind when shooting an animal.

As for reserves, it really comes down to personal preference, but the 3 I recommend are Te Awaroa, Revontuli Coast and Vurhonga Savannah for greatest species variety.

i think cotw is one of the very few game communities that actively listen to their community about issues, it’s worth to send an error message to the developers because they’ll acknowledge it and it might just be something to do with your game somebody here can tell you how to fix

Been a while since I played and noticed I haven't found a single jackrabbit in Balmont, but last time I played (which was pretty long ago, admittedly) they were everywhere. Instead I'm finding a lot of turkeys. Were they just moved around?

It's probably just the turkey presence. They weren't in Layton when I last played, but now they share the space with jackrabbits
