for the next map/great one probably in like 10-15 days, they historically have teased the new summer maps in late May and released them mid-June on a tuesday, so the map is probably coming on either the 16th of June or the 23rd of June because those are both Tuesdays in mid-June.

I don't think so necessarily, Rhinos are incredibly endangered in some parts of Africa, and relatively abundant in others. Also Rhinos are the least likely candidates I think Elephants and Hippos make a lot more sense considering they have populations that are far higher and more stable, and are more hunted irl.

Tanzania is very far away from South Africa (Vurhonga territory) so you could rationalise it as the Rhinos in vurhonga are critically endangered but the Rhinos in Tanzania aren't. Idk just putting stuff out there.

I mean heck we have Snow leopards, those are really endangered.

testing TheHunter on Linux some more, I noticed Steam recently made changes with their Proton 11 update about a month ago.

Before, this game ran on Linux just fine.. but if you tabbed out, it'd crash. The fix for that was using "PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command% /borderless" in the launch options.. problem is, using Wayland, you lost the ability to remap controllers in Steams controller API, which sucked for me because I use that for TheHunter

since Proton 11, running games with Wayland now works with controller remapping 😄
