Unfortunately cybercrime nowadays is rampant and even people who consider themselves very tech savvy can fall victim to all sorts of dodgy stuff , one thing I’ll say is never let ppl like younger siblings into your devices where account info is saved , they WILL go and try and download “freee 100900 Robux”

pretty sure there's a bit of a "dry barrier" for pigs getting over to SA from the eastern states by themselves (and establishing). Pigs need a bit of wet to settle in and most of SA is very arid

we have quite a few feral pigs over in WA they're pretty common once you get out of the suburbs 🥀🥀

Here in the netherlands we have 3 snakes but only one species is adapted to swimming, so when they made new land the other 2 couldn’t reach it but now it’s absolutely invested with grass snakes

Pretty funny how even within related species there can be different barriers

I'm looking it up out of curiosity and feral pigs are only over 45% of Australia, which is still a lot when you think about how much is arid (though this page says that them accessing water troughs for livestock allows their spread into otherwise unsuitable areas)

Okay I went into a couple of gov reports to get a slightly better idea and there are feral pigs in SA coming in from NSW but they're seasonal because they need permanent water sources and one thing SA does not have in plenty is permanent water sources haha

I dont think I even saw a permanent lake in person until I was in my twenties

so they're mostly considered a pest but not a huge concern for landowners because of low population and because they migrate back out when the water dries up
