I've tried looking for them, seen two snow leopards my entire experience.

Most of the time I'd hear warning calls, but then for some reason they just dissapear like the weren't there

None are the “best” it’s just dependent on what you want and ish. I like using the .300 from that pack, but that’s just habit mainly. .300 canning magnum from Yukon or a .375 would work well too. They’re pretty beefy animals.

There’s multiplayer servers yeah
On pc you’re gonna end up running into some that are modded though, and they can unfortunately infect your game since each lobby is peer to peer. If anyone’s over lvl 60, or you see most animals being diamond/fabled, rare, etc I’d head out of it. Mods can also corrupt your files so it’s best to steer clear of those ones.
