SRP is an old favorite of much of the community - but visually I like Askiy and Nepal much more.

The newer way of modelling the map (imo) just puts all the older ones to shame. Like they're much clearer, more detailed etc.
Nepal has a banger lineup of new/unique species with a few overlap and Askiy has a handful of ovelap BUT it has two new birds, manitoba elk, wood bison and beavers if thats interesting to you.
Not to mention Askiy has snow ( ) AND the aurora if you do any late night hunting ( )

I decided to restart and do Missions for whatever reason and I forgot how annoying the Coyote missions are on Layton.

but it also allowed me time to think whilst I waited for stupid coyotes to show up at Leviathan lake about something that could be neatly implemented that would give the incentive to grind/hunt female animals. Some people hunt them for rares to go along multimounts or whatever.

When my folks are in town we love to go hunting! But one of the integral part of it all (for me) is the before and after of the trophy when you get it taxed by a professional.

Seriously some of those people are insane artists. bagged a RM elk a few years ago that was pretty patchy just under the chin and had some sort of eye swelling for some reason. just looked rough, got it back and the bare spots were batched with some sort of fill fibre, the swelling wasn't even there and the coat looked smoothed and glossy.

I'd love that somehow implemented. Again it doesn't need to be huge, just like a clear "before tax" and "after tax" look. and not just copy and paste the original coat unless the player specified it.

IDK i love this game but honestly it seems like there's just so much that devs could implement that wouldn't be a huge overhaul and improve on a general scale that would make the existing players so much happier than "game feeders #2", and the ATVs.

Inventory management that I complain about endlessly, pre/post tax looks, general pathing improvements, better consumables, hunting dog bond adjustments, shooting ranges tied to lodges so you don't have to switch maps/waste hunting space for a range to practice, better harvest/trophy management.

ah fair enough. I play it a lot more relaxed and less grindy. I tried to get into multiplayer but kept having a mismatched playstyle with people. so really i get people the game so they can feel the pain of the things I complain about.

I hate obs. Whenever I mute my mic with the button to film a montage of me walking 2 miles to a look out it locks my microphone in mute mode so the rest of my video was in pure silence other than the game. Oh, and the video quality was terrible despite me changing the resolution to 1080p. Streamlabs better.

Sounds like you need to do some troubleshooting with OBS. This sounds like you haven’t tinkered much with your setup lol

Most of it was with my microphone.. but my streamlabs is fully set up

Streamlabs was using alot of my memory

Obs is more efficient in ram and stuff

More plugins, more customization, more everything lol streamlabs is just simpler but it runs into more issues in my experience

All the issues you listed about OBS can be fixed but you’re going to have to work it out with your particular setup and do some troubleshooting lol it’s a bit more complicated than EZ stream labs but far worth it once you get it tweaked just right for your uses
