So I just taken this mountain goat and there two problems. One its a troll of being off by .62 to be a diamond. But what really gets me is the fact that at 26m the game shows a JHP 10mm out of a Glock 40 couldn't punch through a single bone for a vital shot. Meanwhile, Ive shot Winchester Rangers JHPs and Speer Gold Dots out of my glock17 IRL and its able to easily punch through bone and have enough penetration with some fragmentation from the bullet mushrooming out at the same distance.

Suggestion: Magnum Shotgun Shells

I think it would be really cool if TheHunter: Call of the Wild added magnum shotgun shells like 12/76, 16/76, 20/76 etc. for both birdshot and buckshot.

Right now some of the shotgun loads can feel a bit underpowered, especially when hunting certain birds where they sometimes lack the knockdown power to take them down cleanly. In real hunting, magnum shells are often used to get stronger hits and better performance, so adding them to the game could make shotgun hunting feel more realistic.

Magnum shells could give a bit more power and penetration, and in the case of buckshot maybe also a bit more effective range. It could even allow them to cover one extra animal class compared to the normal shells. Another option could be either letting current shotguns use these shells or adding some magnum versions of shotguns like over-under, pump action or semi-auto variants chambered for them.

I think this would make shotguns more versatile and also appeal to players who use these kinds of loads in real life hunting.

Am I alone in thinking 12ga birdshot, 16ga and 20ga can be lacking for certain birds? I use a 12ga in real life, so i use the caverdsham in the hunter as its close to my gun(i like using guns i got irl). But it lacks the punch. It drops them, sure. But not like the 10ga. And 12ga is common and can be great allround. And with magnum shells(12/76mm) they can definitely pack a punch irl.

I was using the 454 on Crocs yesterday with hollow points because I dont use them much
