Wolves have awful bouncers, feeders attract solos, feeders only have a 400m pull radius, even at that the feeders dont always pull in the animals, you dont know what is in what group so you risk shooting zones down to one and many more things

Feeders are only good to grind torr boar and most likely tahr

General rule for g1's
If the animal maxes at:

Level 9: Keep 4's and below in exteriors (excluding wolves, 5's and below for them) (With the exception of a few small 5s that look like 4s for anything but wolves

(wolves having the same exception but for level 6s))

Level 5: Keep 2's and below (With the exception of a few small 3's)

Level 3: Keep Level 1's (With the exception of a few small 2's)

This doesn't mean you can't do even better herd managment, like 3's and below for animals maxing at 9, or target specifically lower weight estimate 2's for animals that max at 5. These are just the usual minimum levels people tend to go for

Basically, herd managment is simple it, just may take a long time to complete

1.) 1st you need to find all of your zones for that species

2.) Find 16 zones to set up on, 8 - 10 of them being zones you want to be your mains for the rest of the grind, and 8 - 6 being zones that you don't like

3.) In the zones you like, shoot everything that isn't a diamond. Whenever a diamond spawns, keep it there, this is called stacking. The game will see that you have higher level animals on your map, and in turn it will spawn lower level animals on your map

4.) At the same time as step 3, in the zones that you do not like, keep anything that's a low level (refer to the text above), depending on the animal's max level.

5.) Whenever a zone you don't like is now just low levels, you can take that setup down and set up on another zone on your map.

6.) Repeat steps 3 - 5 until every single zone on your map for that species (excluding your main zones) are just low levels, and yes this includes solos too

7.) Whenever step 6 is done, rotate throughout your main zoned only for the rest of your grind/s for that species. Whenever you notice something getting slower/worse, check your exterior zones to see if any of the animals in your main zones bounced out to an exterior zone
