There is no best ammo for each class per se just make sure to use the proper ammo. If you have a class 2-6 gun and a 4-8 and ou want to shoot a class 6 use the gun with 4-8. Also polymers are a bit better for beginners

For Fabled (lvl 10) they're incredibly obvious and distinct.

Leave the females, obviously, but if you want to shoot the 4-5s until they respawn as 3s, that could potentially increase the odds of your shot 6+ animals respawning at higher quality. It's a part of HM called "shooting down". I don't personally do it myself, but a few players swear by it.

For Whitetail, for example, a buck must have a trophy rating of at least 255.09 to be a Diamond.

The most likely reason for this is that they bought the G1 hunts from someone who stacked them. This is against the ToS but people still do it.

Yeah buddy drop your expectations real low. G1s are exceptionally rare and some don't show up for thousands of kills. 700 is nothing.

Also, on the off chance you didn't know, if you want an animal to have a chance of respawning as a G1 at all, you have to actually harvest it. You cannot kill it, leave it's carcass and reset the map to dirty grind G1s. They patched that trick out like a year ago.

for animal remodels the entire species populations including trophies already taxed will be updated, for antler updates like then truracs update years ago, it didn’t change the antlers in the lodge, but it did on the map, for fur remodels, changes or additions the furs can appear on the animals right away without having to harvest any so it sort of like swaps the furs on existing animals

Bows have a very small spook radius and cause less hunting pressure.

If you are getting in close, always use scent eliminator spray, even if the wind is favorable. There are a few perks to decrease noise too.

i mean personally i’d recommend you carry some guns with your bow

cuz you never know, you might encounter something like a diamond turkey and you need a 22 to shoot it out of the air

can’t really do that with a bow (unless you’re pretty good)

(For single player) People mostly use rifles to hunt most of the time, just because you need to get as many kills and respawns as possible. Then once they have a trophy animal on the map, they go after it with a bow.

Any rifle that covers class 1 will be fine. You never need to hit vitals on clas 1 animals. Just hit them anywhere.
