fresh maps come with a few diamonds and rares on them, so if not your own maps, joining low level player maps on multiplayer is a great way to find trophies

I don't count many of the animals I hunt, but small game in particular I do. I keep track of how many I kill until my first diamond. Merriam Turkey was the first animal I decided to do this with and it just would not spawn as a diamond 😭 I stopped counting after 5,000 and that was last November. I've been grinding them on SRP and this bastard just flew over me on Layton like it was fate.

the scores for magpie goose are broken right now, but they get scared of the crocodiles. its real annoying but often you have to hunt all the nearby crocodiles and not pick them up before geese come in

when they see you they'll run into a bush, and you have to flush them out and shoot them out of the air

its illegal to shoot them on the ground so if you don't hit them in the air you won't get a medal

but bird hunting is some of the most fun stuff in this game, i highly recommend it

Your dog is about usless in most areas because it will get caught on the mangroves every 5 seconds and it's an annoying non stop splashing sound. This is where I have my set up and the only place I'll hunt geese on this map.

It honestly doesn't matter. Just make sure the majors are 40 to 50 meters away. There is the lake to the side thats nice and wide and open or in that open field area. But like Psychic said they are very bugged right now. Like one flock will land you might see a couple others but then they stop spawning in. And decoying. And they are all max level and basically diamond guaranteed. But one of the community managers mentioned they will be being reverted to what it should have spawned as.
