I mean every map has some strength or appeal in one way or another , if you’re newer I recommend taking it slower and doing the maps in order unless there’s one you specifically really wanna play

I’ve only played scotland, Layton, hirsch and medved in roughly 250 hours

I gotta count my trophies overall actually

Fun fact, the .10ga Shotgun and thr Moradi .44 rifle are enough to cover class 1-9 animals. Class 2 will be a bit of a struggle because the .10ga birdshot is a mixed bag on whether or not it can reliably take class 2, despite being rated for them.

Yeah, like I said, under 3 seconds. The .375 has better pen rounds, but the .300's soft rounds have much better performance. They act like pen rounds within 150m on class 9s, and at 300m+ they retain more knockdown power than it's own pen rounds and the .375's rounds.

For penetration within 200m though, the .375 is untouchable.

So, rule of thumb for hunting diamonds/Great ones. ALWAYS aim for a vital. If you feel like you wont make a vital, don’t take the shot. Make sure you’re using the correct gun/ammo. Do not brain your diamond with a .22LR. When you spot your target, you can check for potential with the Companion/guide app, and you can track how many kills of that species you have as wel

The Vasquez Cyclone .45 Air Rifle is genuinely, no joke, not memeing, not glazing, one of the best mass-kill weapons you could ask for, for class 2-4 targets. It does not spook outside of 75m and you can categorically take out entire herds without them spooking, comfortably.

everything else can be shot on the ground

Ducks, Geese, Capercaillie, Grouse, and Turkey can be shot grounded. Quail, Pheasant, Woodcock, and Rock Ptarmigan cannot be shot grounded. Unsure about any other birds.

If you have zones in annoying spots you can deadzone that area and force them to move, resulting in potentially more condensed populations. It's arduous and not lightly recommended, but it's how I stacked my whitetail.

i got a lucky two in one, spotted the leu first and then had to clear pressure for him to come back in to my setup, so i was off shooting pheasants in the south when i spotted the diamond lol

now eastern wild is the only one i don't have

It's not a science, it's mostly RNG. Setting up a grind makes it more efficient, but doesn't guarantee quick results!

My Dime Merriam grind is proof of that. 💀

Also just FYI, dime spawns on a grind are usually around 1 in 300ish, give or take based on luck.
