Rangefinder Bowsight is horribly unreliable beyond 100m. Even at 100m it's off, and you shoot high.

Crossbows can accurately and reliably shoot out to 175m, with 420g bolts.

Standard bows, it will depend on draw strength and arrow weight, but I imagine 100m is the reasonable max and 125m is the marksman's max, as far as being able to hit target accurately on purpose.

As far as technical max range goes, probably 300m.

Can use windage to check on the wind speed and direction before shots but it can still be iffy.

Yeah wind speed isn't the issue, the rangefinder's compensation dot is just off, period. You can see it at the range, your arrows shoot higher than the compensation dot, even at 100m.

For large game this isn't an issue, but your small game arrows will zip right over a turkey unless you aim at it's feet.

Fallow drop at 300m just as fast as they do at 150m, but shooting beyond 200m requires using 8x or 7x zoom and a bit of practice. 150m is very easily achieved and fun! At 100m, the air rifle is still hitting targets at about 80% power, so it's very lethal at many angles. That stops entirely at 150m and you need to consider shot placement carefully.
