even then 200-300 might catch their attention and make them ready to flee if theyre close enough. i can hit a target at 150 and if a herd is 250-300m away theyll perk up but not run. 200-250 range idk. dont may much attention at those times. but i also cull with the 300. i can take 2-3 out at a time if theyre close enough together - which deer tend to be. foxes will be different and you can still take running shots. just aim ahead of them

Besides the crossbow, I rather enjoy the (Bearclaw lit cb-60) for small game, (koter cb-65 Orpheus) for mid game and the (Hawk Edge Cb-70) for large game. I use 3 because swapping arrows with an xbox controller is a pain.
