Yeah you're not gonna get those draw weights from a bow but the Alexander Longbow is essentially the design you want.

Not that increased draw weight would make a damn, the weakest bows already send arrows completely through and through class 8-9 animals at seemingly unlimited range.

Okay, so general question, I've accidentally created a deadzone by killing 4 Geese with one shot (didn't even know that was possible but whatever).

Whilst I know that there won't be any zones in that area now, my question is whether or not there will be new zones there when the hunting pressure vanishes

i think to make zones there u have to deadzone another spot

also they should really change how deadzoning works a little. i once deadzoned with a single shot once and it wasnt even my intention, but if so much as a single pellet clips a class 1 its gunna go down. they need to make it so it works on a per shot basis with shotguns. so 4 shots will deadzone instead of 4 kills

Capnocytophaga is a bacteria which is exceptionally common in cats and dogs mouths , harmless to em, but can be very harmful to us! That’s also where you can hear horror stories of someone getting kisses from a dog and having severe complications as the bacteria entered their system

Best to be very careful with these things , especially if you have a weakened immune system

Hirsch is a good free map for Geese, as it's difficult to hunt waterfowl in multiplayer due to a bug.

If you have it, Salzwiesen Park is the best small game map in the game, hands down, for small game specifically. You can hunt two species of goose at the same time, the Greylag and Tundra Bean. And the fields those geese frequent are also home to fox, raccoons, raccoon dogs, pheasant, and grouse.

SRP is phenomenal for Merriam Turkey, Mule Deer, Pronghorn and Black Bear.

It's also good for Bison (plains, I believe?), and has other species you can hunt, but the big attraction for most are the mule deer and bears. I like the Turkey and Pronghorn. Great map overall, and one of the few with plenty of long-range vantage points for easy hunting.

Throw some decoys down in the field and throw a tripod about 50m away

And ecaller by the decoys if you have it

After that it’s simple just mass genocide

It's only available in single player after the haggis mission. It's spawned somewhere on the map. The mission doesn't lead you to it.

You should hunt along the way to each Outpost. I've gotten a lot of trophies that way, and you can find good hotspots you would otherwise not know about.

Pen goes through bone easier and is better for ranged or front/back-side shots. Expansion will bleed them out faster but is only most effective broadside

If you are hitting double lung or heart, the bleed rate doesn't really matter tbh

Most guns only have ammo for a set class, but some - like shotguns for example - can have different class ranges based on the ammo you are using
