I would highly recommend doing some research before diamond hunting if you’re new. I can recommend finding drinking zones and scoping out what’s spawned on your map.

Respawn isn't as black-and-white as people think. There's a set amount of time that passes, but also an activity check of some sort and a "how many animals have been killed so far" check.

So for example if you just kill and collect a few Fallows, they may not respawn within whatever the respawn estimate for Fallow is.

Run around the map and shoot other critters. Bison are easy targets, geese too. I typically see respawns happen reliably after about 20 kills and once 15-20min have elapsed, for most species I hunt.

Shooting down and HM methods are only to increase the overall quality of deer and max your diamonds, it won't do anything for G1s. If you have dimes and you're not concerned about collecting a Super Rare, the only thing that matters is taking males as quickly as you can, without dead zoning.

Well I digress someone who's trained at 300+ meters or 400+ yards shooting deer could manage a bird shot becase u will 1HKO a bird in pretty much any body area whereas bigger game need more carefully placed shots because organs.

Correct. The difference is that I'm licensed by wildlife and fisheries to conduct wildlife control measures and harvest wildlife, even outside of their season, and I also operate both on property and inside buildings. Hunters aren't cutting open walls to pull raccoons out, that's for sure 😆

I also specialize in preventative maintenance, making it so wildlife can't get back into buildings or other structures. Rather than just controlling populations, which is a short term fix. An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure, supposedly.

It's because they're so unnervingly weird to predators, that they see them "dying" and think "mm.. nah, that's gotta be bad for me".

And then there's dogs, who live their entire lives killing inanimate fluffy things (dog toys), so they completely ignore the defense mechanism and murder them.
