Possibly but I haven't tried, and since it's only got 2 compensation dots your accurate range compensation will be limited compared to a traditional mil-dot sight. You can check it in the range though!

Definitely give it a spin at the range and see what it does for you.

Also, key note, the .45 air rifle pellets both have just enough penetration to single lung most class 2-4 animals, so the Hollow-Point rounds are usually much better than the Round Nose, because their expansion rating is 70. They do crazy organ dmg and are even lethal on flesh shots to class 2-3 targets at any range.

I have had the rare instance of the HPs deflecting if the target is at a severe angle towards me and class 4, but 90% of shots it has no problems with. If in doubt and targeting a rare you want to be absolutely certain of, use Round Nose. They'll run 3x further than when shot with HP, but still drop.

I tested 250m shots on Pronghorn and the Pronghorn shot with round nose in the lung, ran 150m before dying. The one shot with HP in the same spot didn't make it 50m.

Yeah so what's happening is they're made aware of your presence before you start crouching, and you're not stopping to let them go from alert/attentive to calm again.

If you make a sound and alert them, they may or may not make a warning call; for a brief period during that time, they will look in your direction and be more sensitive to sights and sounds. The thing to do when they become attentive is to lie down amd don't move at all, until they calm down (this usually takes less than 10 seconds).

Camo is purely cosmetic and doesn't matter. Backpacks will, so if you're using large backpacks it will make you noisy and more visible. Moving through thick brush or around tree branches makes more noise too. You can see your noise and visibility indicator on the bottom right hand side of your screen.

You should be able to sneak up to within 50m of any species, and within 10m of many.

Passing the harvest check matters. If you hit the stomach and intestines you will fail the harvest check and lose value unless you also hit a vital like the liver, lungs, heart etc.
