necessary is a strong word for DLC, but the most generally useful DLCs, in my opinion, are the Ambusher, Bloodhound, and Tripods DLCs.

Other nice DLCs that I really like are the High Tech pack, Weapon Pack 3, Pointer dog, and Feeders DLCs.

A female piebald red deer is rarer than a normal diamond red deer, if I'm not mistaken! It's something like 1 in 500 chances for piebalds, for most deer and many other species.

It comes with Barrel, Box and Post Feeders. You can load them down with a couple different baits, and they will attract a wide variety of species to the feeder during their feeding times. Yes they do, and they are expensive. I believe 16k each if I remember right. They're worth it though. Unlike blinds and other structures, they give you full 360⁰ view with no obstructions, and they also elevate you approx. 5 meters into the air, allowing for better vantage.

Loadouts are preference based. My loadout for example is completely different to yours, but covers the same classes.

16k is only about 15-20 geese, or 16ish crocs.

There's also a consecutive hunt bonus so if you reliably hunt the same animal, basically everything sells for 1k+. Except ducks, and maybe a few other small game.

On Hirch, red deer spawn around the center and eastern sections of the map, possibly all over but I don't specifically hunt them. But if you're looking to make money specifically, hunt Canada geese. They also sell for 1k each and show up in flocks of 7-10, and with a shotgun you can kill 4-7 every engagement.

It's not a powerful rifle, just a silent one. And hard to use beyond 100m. But if you can manage 125m+ distances you can shoot one, wait for the herd to go from attentive to calm, and repeat until every male has gone. It's the genocide gun.

If you do, it's basically necessary to use Mil-Dot scope sights.

At 8x zoom with the Hyperion or Argus, every Mil-Dot represents 50m of drop. So if the target is 150m away and you're zeroed to 100m, use the first mil-dot.

At 16x zoom with the Argus, it's halved to 25m of drop per Mil-Dot.

These measurements remain consistent up to 225m, then the drop becomes more extreme and it requires practice and a bit of experience with the rifle.

Worth the effort for being able to shoot at rifle ranges while staying as silent as a bow, though.
